Cool

I took my 911 Turbo for a minor Porsche service in Dubai. It was long due as I wasn't getting enough time to take it out for service. I usually visit Quick Fit Autos for my Porsche-related services as they are a trusted workshop out there and as always, they did an amazing work.

Smartest thing you can do is retire early.

Best move I ever made...

But to be completely honest, it would be a test to see if I could ever live without the TTS... Meaning, if I could, I could sell the TTS and put a good bit in the bank. Only a test though, and ever time I drive the TTS, I realize just how lucky I really am to own one. Not much will ever compare.

I have a rollercoaster of emotions daily about future vs. living for today.... Every. Single. Day!!
Its good to have this roller coaster as it means you have a passion for cars. Like most of us . They make us happy vs a means of transportation. The good news is that you have a 991 TTS which if you take care of it well will really hold a lot of value. They didnt make many 991.2's and so you can have a helluva car and it wont cost you much when / if you sell it. At $150k-$170K worth, there's literally nothing that compares.

I think we all get ADD - read the forums, read magazines - then get back in the 911 and its really a great package.

Best of luck my friend and I'm sure you'll make the right decisions.

Decided on next round of mods after owning car for a month. So this week ordering from Sam Kline exhaust, do88 intercoolers, pipe, plenum, turbo inlet pipes and headers. Should be enough to get me to next year.

I have to go until at least 57 but even than my years of service won't be that many and the so called pension won't be that great. That's the problem, I just don't feel I'm doing enough for the "long run", but then again, I'm / We're not guaranteed another day so I want to enjoy now as well.... Vicious cycle.

Thank you sir. I'm glad you and so many understand the problem..lol

I do hope the 991.2TTS's hold some value over the years. It's definitely getting taken care of.

I would really love to do that but didn't want to hurt the value of it. The goal was to keep it stock. But that little bump in power would make it way more interesting to drive in the straights vs. how awesome it is in the corners.

Still such an amazingly fun car Stock... Can't wait for this heat / humidity to go AWAY so I can enjoy the top off.... Fall and Winter is MY Time!!!

All can be reversed easily. Hear you on the platform, it is fantastic, however, with a little more power, it comes alive in a totally different manner.

I did a very similar thing with Sam over this past weekend. Now waiting on scheduling it up as I’m away through the end of this week. But very excited about taking the next step.

Hopefully lead time isn't too extreme on these parts. I know kline can be awhile, and do88 said 2-3 weeks until in stock. My plan is I have last week of September off, and last week of October off. Hopefully it is cool enough to install it all then. Worst case friend has an AC'd garage with a dyno at his house, so could dyno, install it, then redyno. See what type of gains this gets.

DSC suspension controller installed today! I cannot wait to test it out when it’s not raining. I’ve heard it’s a great ride quality improvement

Nothing earth shattering but I replaced the cabin air filter and the frunk filter on both my Porsche's. I was surprised how much dirt and debris was collected.

That just means they're not garage queens. Good job!
