Hadn't thought of that, but you're probably right. Was trying to figure how I could put a piece of grill screen between the fender liner and fan. Kinda like the Rennline screens in the bumper.

Wow! I've never driven, nor sat in one, but knew they were cramped as told from those that owned them. That is ridiculously tight. I guess wearing driving shoes might help.

On the very tight road, I had no problem keeping up with a modded 996 turbo.

An 06z06 was a high 20k car a few years ago. No way would I be buying one for that. For mid 40s at l east get a 2010+ with low miles. Better transmission, axles, interior, and other upgrades.

As for my 911, drove it to walmart, home depot, a few stores. Tomorrow for a 300 mile trip with the local porsche/vette club.

Oh my goodness!! That's an experience for sure! They are definitely pretty spartan and raw.

Yes, it's pretty bare bones, but it sure could hustle on a tight road.

Also, it probably would not go well if you were to get hit in it.

So today (well yesterday) those nice people at ES Motor (in the UK) installed an extra 100 ponies in my 991.2. These guys are super knowledgable and super professional- I watched the entire process of building a custom map, dyno'ing and how the first version of the map got gradually tweaked for my car. The outcome is pretty special- same drivability, same good behaviour when pootling around, rather different behaviour when giving it some beans.

I should say that my TTS is entirely stock other than a higher flow air filter and a resonator delete (cats are still intact). With a replacement exhaust, I'd probably get another 50hp at the crank but I prefer to retain as much of the refined experience as possible.

Big kudos to ES and a recommendation to anyone thinking of releasing a little (or a lot if you want- they had a 1200 and a 2000hp car there at the same time as I was there)

Lovingly and painstakingly picked tiny pebbles out of the intercoolers and straightened some radiator fins for Zunsport install. Pulled plugs and coils.

She's been having a great spa week!

This C6Z only has 4800 miles and is just about perfect.. Totally stock and would stay that way. I'm not totally sold on it. It just interest me.

For some crazy reason I feel the need to have a 4th and different vehicle for the collection.
I thought you were stressing about retirement . Not trying to be a Debbie downer whatsoever and you can tell me to butt out - but am trying to reconcile your stress with this latest desire.. Then again we want what we want and YOLO..

Ha!! lol

No problem brother... Yes, I do stress about it, however I have a serious car habit and still want another vehicle.

But to be completely honest, it would be a test to see if I could ever live without the TTS... Meaning, if I could, I could sell the TTS and put a good bit in the bank. Only a test though, and ever time I drive the TTS, I realize just how lucky I really am to own one. Not much will ever compare.

I have a rollercoaster of emotions daily about future vs. living for today.... Every. Single. Day!!
