They are the GT3RS ones - the GT2RS ones do not fit, there is a change in the body.

I very much like the look, especially when skirts are added.

As I am not a fan of the ribs, I would prefer the GT2RS look version in carbon fiber - if only I could find someone that makes that to fit the 991.2 TTS. My go to vendor for carbon fiber is DB Carbon, but they appear to sell only the GT3RS version in carbon fiber.

Understood, that is because the body between the GT2/3RS is in fact different.

You could modify the GT3 intakes by eliminating the ribs and then have them hydro dipped in faux carbon fiber film and finished with PPF in matte or gloss. very doable by the right body shop or someone with equivalent skills. I used to be a model maker.

Perhaps a touch to deep for the turbo...

How about the factory Porsche carbon inlets at Suncoast?
They are very nice, based on what I can tell from the pics.
Would the .1 inlets not fit the .2?

I think that only really works if you have a carbon wing; the look would not otherwise be balanced.

Sir, that is an excellent suggestion, however, it is several levels above my aptitude pay-grade. By comparison, I used to be an accountant - a skill set that will not avail me with experience on a project like that.

Just want to emphasize that I like Jim M.'s mod and enjoy the posted pictures of the GT3RS side vents on this platform tremendously. I just have an obsession with carbon fiber and I like the way it looks on the GT2RS.... a lot.

I agree they are very nice, however, they are 991 TT/TTS sized and not the larger size inlets as would be found on the GT3RS and GT2RS. Some time ago there was a group by in this forum by Carbonlution for side inlets that were GT2RS sized and in carbon fiber...and the price was very competitive too! Some of the posts about them gave me pause and I've been looking for a substitute ever since.

I got the Carbonlution ones. After months of waiting and having to send 1 back. I still have them on and they look pretty good. Required some manipulation and adhesive. I suspect that Carbonlution went out of business or stopped offering these vents as they have gone very quiet. I just looked and DB Carbon (who others on the forum speak highly of - disclaimer i have no experience with them) have the GT3RS style carbo fiber inlets for approx. $2500 or the regular (turbo sized) ones in carbo fiber for $1225. If i were in the market, i would buy from these guys.

I bought the Carbonlution GT2RS CF. Also had to send one back to get a perfect fit

Wouldn't it be nice if the OEM carbon ones worked...?

Had zero interest in ploughing anything at 0400, took the truck instead...
