The weather (temperatures) looks like it will be way better but I do not think the condition of the runway will ever be better...LOL
Sunday should have less traffic and you probably will get in more runs. I only plan to run 2-3 times depending on how it goes...I have a goal in mind and if I hit my goal I may be done for the day???
Yeah, when I went a few years ago with my F80 Sunday did offer a lot more run opportunities but less competition/diversity. It might as well have been a Corvette and Hellcat club day. The 991 should be much more fun and will offer a good baseline before I send Sam another pile of money. My only goal is to drive the car home, so I am very hopeful to achieve that lol.

Hey Ryan, my plans have changed and I may not be able to run on Saturday. Let me know if you are interested and I will transfer the ticket to you.
I did the 991.2 steering wheel swap a while back, which is a HUGE improvement, but the silver plastic inserts (with fake bolts) were driving my OCD nuts... Swapped the silver switches/insert for the black Macan switches/insert and all is now one with the world..

Where did you get the wheel and inserts? Suncoast?
Do you have the part # and price for the wheel? Does the Sport Chrono "dial" work with the 991.1 TTS? I apologize for not taking the time to figure this info out...

Here is what it takes to swap from the 991.1 wheel to the 991.2: (Black Leather):
Then the black parts if you don't like the silver ones. Yes the sport-chrono **** does work, well most of the time. It uses bluetooth from the adapter, so can be a little sluggish at times..

is there anything with dealing with the air bag that should be observed ?
I’ve got a 991.2 and would like to switch out the three chrome bezels.

Just don't ever turn the ignition key switch with any airbag component disconnected, even to just release the wheel lock... Disconnecting battery prevents you from accidentally doing such. Not the end of the world even if you do, but it will set an airbag fault light that will never reset without a piwis, durametric, or other porsche specific tool.

I'm seriously considering Carbon Fiber inserts for those switches, like this:

Like pfbz said, just disconnect the neg cable from the battery before removing the airbag, some people wait an hour or so after, I never have. If you've never taken the wheel off, it takes a 12mm triple square bit to remove the bolt, and a T20 & T10 torx for the rest of the screws. There's a few video's out there of the process, it's not bad at all
Here's a video of removing the airbag/wheel, skip to about 09:00:
