1985 Carrera Targa - very cool - that was my exact very first Porsche. Of all the air cooled one's i owned - I think I liked it the best. Maybe, I just had a romantic memory of it. But I think I preferred it to my 964 and my 993. Certainly the 993 was the most capable and I do remember that my 1985 had pretty crude AC and heating for example, but was an absolute delight to drive and sounded the best. GLWS - if i had the space and you were in the US - I would be extremely tempted - especially for the nostalgia. Its a great car!
I have to say that although nowhere near the power level of the 991/996, it is really satisfying to work through the gears and manual rack.
I will be sad to see it go.

I have not seen the error again, and the above noted targa has been chewing up my very limited spare time - I did get some data back on the before and after installation, but because of the way I had the acquisition unit mounted in the frunk, it is just noise, which is a bit of miss.
So once I have gotten everything together for BAT, I plan on focusing on the 991 - I think I am going to pull the unit out and attach a USB to it for one, and two, I am going to get the software working correctly on my laptop.

I sure do; I manage anywhere between 5 and 10 miles a day over a variety of activities from walking, elliptical, weights and jogging.
It was really interesting how it got away from me too - I got a promotion 8 years ago and was firmly planted in front of a desk versus spending a whole bunch of time in the field, like I had done the previous 12+ yeas since I got out of school. As we get on in age, it appears to me that unless you are making a concerted effort to be active, it can really sneak up on you if you aren't careful.
Cheers,

Congrats for making it happen.
I recently got back to hitting the weights after nearly two years off and eating much, much better and I'm feeling pretty great, as well.

Been meaning to do that side trip to Bagdad sometime... see the turn off when traveling up Yarnell hill and unto Prescott, etc.
Well....... ticket or warning??????? I hate that view in my rearview.

Loved the route between Bagdad and Prescott. Then continued down 89 to PHX.
