Yeah thunderstorms in early January seem odd. Sunday should be a good day to try out the stock map. My overall goal is 650 to the wheels on 93. I think Sam has a plan for this....

650 Wheel will be strong for a .1.
You doing any other bolt ons to support ??
I plan to stay exhaust / tune only for now. Once I sell the 308, I'll swap to Cobb / Europipe EP2 and have Sam work majic on my .2

I should have done more home work and held out for a .2. But I was impatient and honestly like that the .1 is lower on the depreciation curve.

I am going to have to do turbos, Kline, IC’s, and intake. I want to see what I can do without meth but I doubt I can get around that. My hope is with turbos I can avoid meth. I ran meth on my F80M and 335.

Yeah, I should have purchase a .1 also for that very reason, but since I was stretching anyway, I decide to gamble on the .2.
I think I got a decent deal, so depending on how the market for them go, I'll have a bit of time before it looses too much I hope.

lol
I really hope you're right on this. Given the pricing hike too, hoping our .2's hold values for how awesome a platform it is (especially for the mod'rs.)

after more research I think a .2 is more desirable long term than a .1. In 5 years I bet my .1 is harder to sell that a .2 just because of tune ability. Once these cars hit sub 75k I think we will see a lot of people buying them to tune and mod specifically. In that market .2 is a huge win. I think over 100k price point is a barrier that keeps a lot of tuners out today.
bit of a rant......

I agree that the .2 is going to be a moders car. I think it gets under that $100k barrier and they will be very desirable. The 991 is just a bad *** platform. What else can you buy that will run 10’s and do track days all day long? The platform just kicks ***.

100% with you. my car is the gymnastics hauler for my girls. We are booster with no back in the back for the little one (age 7) and my oldest (age 12) rides up front. Every night I hear from the back seat, “daddy can we do launch control”? It hits me in the feels every time. I just hope you can’t launch this car too many times before it eats a PDK. Mine gets launched at least 10 times a week. Does it ever get old?
