those are some awesome tracks. Keep us posted with your progress.
I'm glad someone here commented about the Tractive setup, I've been eyeing it since I got ahold of my TTS early this year. I have been quite curious what spring rates you are running, and can you comment a bit more about how the bushings effected the ride quality? I don't track my car much at all, it's mostly for canyon carving and such, in saying that I'm not entirely willing to completely demolish the good ride quality the TTS has from the factory, I hope that's not the case after the changes you've made.

Jetted,

im running 120/200 kg-mm (670/1120 in-lbs). I’m also running a lot more downforce than the a regular tts as I have the 991.2 front Cup bumper with canards and the 3RS wing at full tilt with a 1”gurney. I do run my car much higher than most per Mike’s recommendation.

Regarding street driving it’s surprisingly subtle. When I first got the car back I thought it was too soft. This is mainly due to the DSC box. I also think our cars have more insulation than a 3RS as they have a tougher ride than my car. I’m not saying it’s a sedan, but I can tell you that the only time my wife complains about the car is on a very rough parking lot close to my house where the car does bounce around. But on the street or highway you would never have thought I was that highly sprung.

regarding the bushings, everyone told me it was going to be loud etc. I myself do not hear anything different than before. The only noise I get is from the front sway bar and front shocks as they have solid mounts, but not from the control arm bushings. And you can only hear at very low speeds over bumps (parking lot above ha!)

hope this helps. BTW the Tractive RT are a little softer sprung (but not much). We upped my spring rates when I added all of the aero. as I said before, they are an awesome upgrade, specially if you set the car right. It’s night and day from anything I had before.

Thank you very much for the thorough explanation. I'll certainly look into getting the bushings done then take a look at what Tractive setup makes sense for me.

2015 TT Cabrio - 24 Track days on the car. My biggest struggle other than lack of camber chewing front tires a bit (although manageable), is the lack of support in the seats. I find myself trying to either leverage myself against the door or over gripping the steering wheel to keep my upper body still. Other than replacing front seats, can anyone recommend a fix for this?

Before I swapped out stock seats for Cobra Misano Anniversary seats (I should probably sell these, too) I used CG Locks. They don't help with the upper body, but they do lock you down into the seat bottom much better.

There are adapters to make PFC calipers fit, but why not just either go with the AP Racing kit or just use Girodisc rotors with racing pads? You will have phenomenal braking and not have such a Frankenstein setup.

Randy, how much water is the GT2RS using in a track outing for the IC sprays ? I just looked at a posted log and the Spray System makes a significant difference in IAT.

It's dependent somewhat on ambient air temps, but in the morning I may get in a full 30 minute session on a gallon of water, but if it heats up in the afternoon I may empty the entire gallon+ tank in 15-20 minutes.

The log numbers show a nice drop in IAT. Can you feel the difference when you empty the tank ?

Yes, I typically come in when the tank is empty. Power is cut considerably by design

Order a set of these from Suncoast - brilliant seats. No cost option to have these in UK but not many people went for it. These seats with a sports exhaust (50 cel Europipe) transform the turbo experience into something a bit more emotional. Doesn't even need a remap and it bone stock keeps 650PS-700bhp cars not only honest but beats them accelerating up the VMAX strip. As fast as a GT3 on track. Best real world car Porsche makes for me

You can get them for about #6500 in UK. I think they were like $12000 when I looked for 997 via suncoast. Same seats but 991 version are heated which is nice.
