blah blah blah

This is almost painful to read now. Arguments going in never ending circles, and achieve what?

I suggest Porsche only making GT cars in ZF 8 speed and turbo charged engines. That'll solve some of the allocation issues.

If the GT3 was TT, not sure I would want one. It would all depend on the driving experience...sound, responsiveness and over all performance.

Hey, the faster Porsche goes to all turbos, hybrids, or the combo of the two for all their GT cars the sooner I can stop buying their new GT cars. NA is the only thing that is having me bend over backwards for GT allocations at MSRP.

Yes it would. No one would want them and Porsche could just close up shop.

Porsche have promoted so much determination, fuel to work harder, to count more beans, to hustle more, and to have endless meaningless cycle of debate and talks about values and allocations.

Without GT car demands, What will fuel you to work harder beyond your limits? Why work the extra extra hours on nights and weekends?

What will people talk about on Rennlist?

These are the true benefits that Porsche GT offers.

People want what they can't have. Old sales technique.

So, on top of the pleasures of driving and admiring and discussing, Porsche now offers the benefit of "Irrational exuberance"?

I'm waiting for the 'Greenspan Edition' myself

^ I'd pull his allocation for doing that to a poor CGT.

I think Porsche created this hype and they love it. It's funny, but this reminds me of the long lines in front of popular night clubs. They make everyone wait, but the club is empty. Some bouncers (stealers) use it to their advantage and charge ADMs to let in people in front of the line.

I find Alejandro Salomon sort of amusing.
But what he said at the start of the video
(above) needs clarification. He indeed
seems to have been an original owner* of
a 918. That is the only way he could have
qualified for the 918 VIP Program. When
Alejandro sold that & bought the second
918, that transaction did nothing to
provide him any additional privileges
under the 918 VIP Program!

Anyone that buys a second-hand 918
does not qualify for the VIP Program
- only the original owners! So I don't
know why he decided to mention his
second 918 purchase on this video
because that doesn't come with any
'privileges' re: the 918 VIP Program!

Alejandro sold his 918 after shortly after
he bought it. I really don't know how long
he kept it. But if he kept it for 6 months
from the date of his purchase, he has the
right to remain in the 918 VIP Program for
only 3 Years!

If, on the other hand, he would have kept
the original 918 he bought for 3 years, he
could have remained in the VIP Program
for at least 10 Years! This is my understanding
of how the 918 VIP Program works!

Given the fact that Alejandro is making a
nice living doing these videos & reviews
of new cars, I questioned (at the time that
he sold his 918
) why he didn't keep for for
a full three years so that he could qualify
for 10 full years of the 918 VIP Program
& its 'right of first refusal' for all special
models - such as future gt cars & even
some non-gt cars like the Boxster Spyders.
For someone in his 'line of business', that
is a very useful & valuable program that
merited the longest membership possible!

*Undoubtedly Alejandro has 'sponsors' that
are fronting the money for his acquisitions.
And perhaps one of those 'sponsors' is the
real member of the 918 VIP Program & not
Alejandro. To my knowlege we have never
seen the 'pink slips' to see in who's name
are all of these cars. If Alejandro is only
the 'front' man & not the principle/owner,
that could explain a lot! Regardless, he has
found himself a nice 'internet' gig & he is
making the most of it! I respect that!

Eduardo, thanks for your insight. As I watch the video I was asking myself how did this guy get where he is to be lecturing others on Porsche's coveted GT cars?
