This thing has to sound even better from the drivers seat than the .1
sounds like they went back to how things were with the 997.2's, which is a good thing. More engine music.

I was surprised how good the Satin aluminum wheels looked on the GR

agree, thought black wheels is a given on a GR GT3 but apparently not

If they removed as much sound insulation on the GT3.2 as on R. , then the GT3.2 will be very boomy indeed. That's Not a bad thing, but after many hwy, mntns and track miles in the 911r, I can say it's definitely a very loud and echoey car inside.. feels like an old race car.

I'm also glad the engine top-end comparison with the R & RS was mentioned, I had also discussed this in my "911R driving impression" thread posts in the past, but I was cautious not to speak any further on that subject so as not to ruffle any VIP feathers... I value my driving privileges and I am in love with driving the 911r both on road and on track.. in fact I would take it almost over any other half million dollar & up hyper car I've had the honor to test. However, hearing about the stronger top end on this GT3.2 makes me very very excited that this could be, literally the "perfect" car, as that top end strength or surge was all the 911r was missing to become the ultimate "for life" sports car, if such a Unicorn could exist.

^ Satin Aluminum is the real bright silver color. The color above is Satin Platinum

Funny - took me a second to catch on

This is a Porsche controlled launch event; nobody had an option to bring another car to compare. Porsche is focused on selling THIS car, for now.

I'm not sure if you're deliberately obtuse, but I can assure you he did not skip the GT3 launch to "wait" for a manual to test.

Yes,you're right,he would not miss it. He's quite busy with Top Gear at the moment I suppose. Either way,his review should be out soon...

Does anyone think it's going to be any different than any other reviews? No. Well maybe he can drift it a little better

I think his review is most anticipated because of the " weight " his opinion carries in the automotive world. Plus, everyone is hoping he'll do a better job at explaining why the 991.2 GT3 is an evolution.

Yep, Looks like the embargo is lifted. Carfection, DriveTribe both released their Gt3 reviews.

What I want to see is how it drives in the city landscape...super excited about this car

Why do some reviewers go on and on about how awesome a car is, how fast it is, how great it performs and then spend the entire video doddling around like a school marm doing her first track day? That Carfection video guy should pay everyone who watched his video for his time. He basically said nothing but 'this car is awesome' while puttering around and providing nothing of substance. I want that part of my life back.
