Can ask the same question why guys spend the whole video sliding the car. Not fast nor really relevant for actually tracking the car.

Totally agree. Can't stand watching guys lapping the track and sliding the car in every corner. Really totally irrelevant to track use or the street for that matter. But I just can't understand these slow videos. Drive the ****ing car and show me what it can do!

It cracks me up when they actually comment on what they're doing right then 'oh wow, the turn in, the grip is just exceptional...' as they're running through a corner, but they're going so slow a Camry could get around them on the outside.

Because it's tons of fun and they're not paying for the tires?

I assume because it's difficult to drive full out and speak in a a cohesive manner at the same time. Sliding makes for good TV. Look at Top Gear/Grand Tour and even Chris Harris. I think it's fun to watch haha.

This is awesome, but are they all the same configuration?

As far as I know. Jethro mentions the Anglesey International version - the other three versions are much shorter with lap times tens of seconds shorter (too different to be confusing):

I found these reviews worthless. They hardly provide any information that I don't know.
I know the specs, I know it is fast, it sounds good, it has grip, the steer is precise.
For me, I want to know how this new car feels compared to the .1GT3, .1GT3RS, and other competitors. Why should I choose .2GT3 over the .1GT3, RS, AMG GTR or whatever.

So far I feel it is not a game changer comparing to the last GT3, comparison is hardly mentioned. When the 991.1 GT3 is out, every reviewer kept saying 'this is miles ahead of the 997 GT3'.....

Car reviews don't need to look like those Xhmee or JWWWWWW vlogs. What they did is just state the specs, drive and praise, same comments, same wording, different cars..

But Chris Harris actually gives you plenty of video of him driving the car hard. He knows when to shut up and drive the car. Some of these guys can't seem to do either. Why shoot video at all if you're not going to actually show the car doing what you say it can do?

Chris Harris' review of the 991.1 GT3 was "mega".

Looking forward to his review of the 0.2

It's because he can't drive. I'm not being mean or trolling, I'm serious. Watch his videos.. he uses someone for occasional track work, he can't drift, he has no racing or road rally history like many of the others.. from monkey to ALL the evo guys.. even top gear and autocar guys.. all do events on the side. The carfection guy doesn't so much review as philosophize.. he can't go deep into mechanicals.. so his reviews are engaging, but not interesting or deep.

It's a mid-model facelift, not a new model. Of course there isn't much to talk about.. the engine upgrade is more than was originally expected.
