These reviewers say the same thing for all cars. No useful information in most cases. If they can't say anything I don't know, and have the same comments for all cars, Huracan, GT3, R8, GTR, then what's the point of these reviews? Entertaining to watch though. Maybe that's the point.
Like most reviews it comes down to technical specifications, test driving, feel and over all emotional impressions. Most discussed the engine responsiveness, sound (growl), the chassis and the tweaked suspension which lends itself to cornering ability beyond what most of us are capable of , the braking power and finally the emotional component which blew most of them away.

What did you want them to say; the .1GT3 is crap and the RS can't hold a candle to this car? Ain't going to happen. I owned the .1GT3 and loved the car but also knew that Porsche would be coming out with a .2GT3 which would be better. How much? That all depends on your perspective and lap times. So far so good.

Why are we so sure there will be a Harris review soon? Yes, I saw the tweet, he was there. But could it be that they are holding his bit for next season TG?
I hope I am dead wrong.

Harris is handcuffed in how and when he can release a video review.

It has to go through the Top Gear bureaucracy. It is no longer like it was when he had his own Youtube channel "Chris Harris on Cars"

It's unfortunate that his talents are wasted on a goofball show like Top Gear. That said, I feel like Jethro is better these days anyway.

In addition says there is an "ignition cut off at 9,000rpm".

Am am I completely off or does this mean that the manual will not allow over revs as in the 911R?

It means the GT3 cuts the power at 9,000, while the R cuts the power at 8,500 rpm, despite the R's tach not turning red until 8,600 rpm...

The only way to over-rev either is by downshifting into a low gear at too high a speed...

Thanks for posting. Actually describes how the car (and the gearbox) feels. Great review!

I meant cylinders. I know a few cases of the regular 991 with serious failure of the cylinder coating.
Not trying to **** on your parade here folks!

best reviews so far are from Jethro at drivetribe and the australian at drive.com. Both improve our insight into the .2 GT3 and how it compares to the .1.

The other reviews are completely worthless.
