GT3 Dealer Allocation Thread

Anyone saw or heard of the build date got move up?
Currently with the number of car produced seems greater than the guessmated allocation number, just curious if the factory increase the production, speed up the delivery and perhaps open up more allocations next year.

As I stated in an earlier post, I saw a purchase contract and a delivered car for $45k over, LOL. And that was a pretty high MSRP car to begin with.

I agree. Time is money, and money can’t buy you more time except for in cases like this. Would I pay someone $100 to stand in line to get my an iPhone X on launch day? Heck yeah. $200? Probably. $300? Maybe. $400? Probably not, but then to someone who has way more money than I, they would pay $1000 to start using it a month earlier. We can choose to follow the mantra to wait and pay MSRP for something (cars, watches, live sport tickets, etc), or we can also choose to wait 4 years later and buy it at a discount. I pay to watch PPV boxing and UFC, but the boxing match is free on Showtime or HBO the following weeks, and the UFC is free on fight pass a month later. We just all have a different matrix when it comes to time value of money, especially how important that object is to us. Why do we want to make more money? Well, one of the reasons is we can buy things earlier when they are hottest, rather than later when they are starting to get or already obsolete.

I had a build through a broker with an adm attached but decided to pass in hopes that production would ramp up and more allocations would drop. These builds we are hearing about moving up 2 months and Low 911 3L sales along with the VW exhaust financial impact, I would think PAG would see an opportunity to capitalize on this cash cow and produce more GT3s.
I hope the old way of building GT cars with low numbers and pissing good customers off is over.

Oddly, it seems that it's all over in Canada, well at least at my dealership. I was told that no more cars were coming in and that there would not be any 2019's. Got my deposit back yesterday, about a week after the above was confirmed. <sad>

Don’t know what the truth is though.

That we know in terms of MY designation. But one dealer said they aren €™t building more cars after July 2018 to their knowledge. However they didn €™t disclose source or precise details. He could simply mean MY2018s. Or Porsche has simply not committed anything to them or whatever else the reason is.
My dealer has 2 allocations Sept/Oct 2018 so they are building cars after July which will be 2019’s. The real question up in the air is will any GT3’s be built after 12/31/18. That seems to be the one with many rumors.

I’m remaining hopeful some more allocations will drop for MY18 builds.
