Yup, goes to show that Porsche knows where it's bread is buttered. Good job PAG, glad that you listened to my suggestion on cutting back the cars that don't sell well and make more of the stuff that actually sells. BUILD BABY BUILD...I have that they build 10,000 GT3s and that they are worth $100k in a few years so everyone can STFU and just drive the cars.

my dealer told me that i'm 3rd on the "next" list - IE if he gets 3 more spots I'm in ... not holding my breath
I did place myself on the .2 RS list ... so we'll see how that goes. Oddly enough there wasn't a long list yet for the .2 RS

I would hold it. Make sure you are 070 build request on Porsche books.

What I found interesting was that there was a big cutback in Carrera and Turbo models which confirms, to me anyway, they are building a lot of GT cars. I am not sure what that means exactly but gives some hope for those waiting for an allocation be it a GT3, a GT2RS, or a GT3RS. My personal view is that we will see ~3000 GT2RS, a non-limited GT3RS with a lot of allocations, a fairly high number of speedster/sport classic allocations, but maybe not that many more GT3 allocations (given that why sell a 160k car when you can sell a 200k plus or 300k plus car) — although I am sure some more will come in.

It's a small dealer. I think this is actually the first two slots they've gotten since their two 918 customer allocations. On the .1 GT3, they got a couple more slots quicker than this. Adds to the story that there may not be as many .2s as there were .1s.
For now, I'm enjoying my 2014 - over 54,000 miles

I've pretty much settled on: Carmine Red, Leather/Cloth with Red Stitching, Touring Package in Black, LED Headlights, Front Axle Lift, PCCB, Chrono w/Lap Trigger, Extended Range Fuel Tank, Auto-dimming mirrors w/rain sensor, Adaptive Sport Seats, Seat Heating, Floor Mats, Luggage net, Carbon Fiber Interior Trim, Carbon Fiber Sills, and Bose.
BTW - my 2014 has 58,500 miles on it. It will get it's 60k before November is done. About that time, I'm going to need to figure out what to ask for the 2014...

I got a call from my sales associate, today. They got an allocation for next month and the person in front of me, in their list, said he preferred to wait. So, I'll be going in Saturday morning for paperwork and deposit on a build next month (at MSRP)!

I am hoping that the rumors of more GT allocations/production bear fruit. I am on the list at 6 different dealers, and every night before bed I say a little prayer for world peace, to end hunger and suffering in the world, keep me and my family healthy, and also if I may be a little bit selfish, a .2 GT3 allocation in 2018....

I was already told a while ago that they are scaling back all 911 production. My dealer had one 2018 GTS cab in June and one in December, and this is a large dealer in LA. I think all 911s are scaled back because of SUV and Panamera, and also more cars going to other countries.
