Same as Sunset. I think both are Premier dealers. Meanwhile my little podunk dealer got 1 for their 918 customer. Says a lot about how Porsche is allocating business to their preferred dealers.

GT3's are allocated based on 911 sales. No mystery or grand conspiracy.

I fully agree with Drifting- Who buys regular 911s these days. Any experienced high performance car owners will find them boring and souless. After multiple 911s over the years, I have zero interest in them.
I bought a 2014 911. I don't find it boring. I find it fun to drive on a regular road. In fact, it's the perfect non-track car in my opinion.

Curious, is Sunset considered a good guy dealer that sellers their GT cars for MSRP?

I've had a deposit in with Park Place since May 2015 so I'm hoping they come through in the next 2 rounds of allocations.

Because you could be dead when things "slow down"

If one's worth in life means having a certain car, then you have bigger issues.

Being brainwashed than only a 991.2 GT3 will bring you car nirvana is delusional.

Life is too short to dwell on bull****. Move on and enjoy all the other things life has to offer (including other cars).

That's not what I said.

My point was a general one. Deferred enjoyment is never as enjoyable as enjoyment now. Hence the price delta.

It's like beer at ballgames. One can always wait until after the game to grab a beer. But if one wants a beer now, while watching the game, at the ballpark, then that person is going to pay. And, pay dearly.

Just buy a used GT3 or RS from pfaff at their list price. They are guaranteeing allocations to anyone who buys one from them.

Disagree. I love the exquisite torture of the wait.

^ apparently the used car manager is on the hot seat for not having been able to move these cars. looks like speculators (at least up here) are starting to feel the squeeze!

So an hour before the ballgame, a beer now is still more enjoyable than a beer an hour later at the ballgame?
