Now that would be interesting (Speedster version).

Sample at local dealer. It's technically "Crayon", which should be Chalk in North America.

Took the pic outside on overcast day. It will be lighter on the car.

Thanks. I stopped by my dealer and they didn't have a sample yet. When it arrives, I'll snap a photo against Fashion grey for comparison. I suspect Fashion grey is a little darker/browner.

FWIW, there's lots of speculation this RS (below) could be Chalk/Crayon.

Sport cars are exciting to drive. They should be exciting to look at generating passion and desire. They should not look like battleship grey.

That would be great to see them side by side. I suspect when we see Chalk on a car it will look much lighter then the sample.

Did u think he'd say "yeah, man, it sucks we didn't offer a LWFW option"? My LWFW comment was in reference to why someone might not want the .2 over an R. I'm not taking anything away from the .2 and if I order one, prob will be pdk anyway. However saying a LWFW wouldn't be wanted on this car is like saying you wouldn't want it to sound better if possible.

It's hard to find anything not to like on this beast based on what has been released so far. Hats of to AP and GT dept

Bull****

Just like when he said the 991 1.GT3 was perfect, before the cars starting losing rod bolts and eating their cam lobes.

The 991 series GT3 engine is still a work in progress.

PAG has apparently figured out how to avoid cam wear with the solid lifters and better oiling.

Over time if they desire, they'll figure out how to implement a LWFW.

LOL

completely agree. There is no point in trying to make a GT3 look conservative. It's not the nature of the car.

My previous 997 C2S was black and fit the dual nature of the 911. My current 991 GT3 is Guards Red, which fits the singular nature of the GT3.

Grey, brown, chalk, etc belong on regular Porsches, not GT3s or RSs.

No prob. It's been fun. A lot of great contributions by others as well. Some great tech content too (not my expertise).

The Porsche marketing dept. should love this. The single best one stop resource for the .2 GT3 around.
