I like GT Silver on this car because with all the black pieces I think with Satin Black wheels it will look pretty sick. I have had (2) Red(GR/CR), Black and a white one so this round will be GT Silver. Still Flirting with the Graphite color but have a feeling after a month I may regret it. Crayon just looks like Dirty white to me but this car will look great in any color so to each their own

I love gray on race cars. My Boss 302 Trans Am TA3 is a celeb rockstar at NJMP. Color is a universal hit!

I'm flirting with the Graphite Blue Metallic as well. I've seen it in person on a new 911 S with black wheels and it looked really good, not so much with the silver wheels. I think it would look great on the GT3 with the platinum or black wheels and some carbon bits. I would love to be able to see one in person before having to decide though!

FYI. Front clearance 88mm or 3.465"

Maybe with new bumper design approach angle is more favorable than .1 or other models?

In all likelihood I am doing GT Silver as well, it always looks good. Agree with black accents and wheels making the car with GT Silver look amazing... ya, another silver Porsche.

Also this time the lift option will raise the front up to 1.5 inches under 37 miles/hour as opposed to 1.2 inches under 30 miles/hour before

Anything but BLACK

Hides the lines of any car too much. How many black 911's do you see rolling around? Is the #1 991 Carrera color.

In all seriousness, get what you like. You're the one paying for it.

I am conflicted between GR and CR. GR seems to be more sporty and the option stitching for the leather/alcantara bucket seats only comes in GR. Having a CR exterior with GR accent interior may look out of place.

CR is a richer color and more conservative. It is often found on Macan's and Panamera's. Also, it's a $4220 upcharge. Not sure it's worth it.

BTW, since when did they start charging $140 for the extended range fuel tank? If I am not mistaken, Porsche didn't charge for it on the .1GT3.

Nick.. I had a CR GT4 with GR stitch interior and it worked perfectly well together. The CR is a fantastic color, very rich and deep. I loved it on the GT4, only reason not doing it this time is because I have been there...

Re: seat choices?

How difficult are the LWBS to get in/out of? I ask because I've got a 'new' right knee that the other day I twisted getting out of the competition seat in my C7 Z06. I would hate to have to contort myself getting in and out of the seat every time. In fact since I'll only take the car to an HPDE about 3-4 times per year, I'm wondering if the 18 way seats might not be a better choice for me. I know; heresy! lol

Nick, as long as you don't plan to do painted interior pieces with the exterior color of the car, the GR interior stitches won't clash with a CR exterior.

Regarding worth of the CR option- That a personal call. CR isn't a PTS color and not rare in the Porsche world these days as you noted.
It's just about whether it makes your heart skip an extra beat when you approach your parked car.
