As an FYI, have seen the black door handles more on other Porsche models than 911's. Barely any 911's. I'd pass. The cleaner look of the new door handle design is a plus. Don't bring attention to it like mentioned.

From the Australian configurator. It has the standard door release rather than the cloth door pulls. I assume this is a mistake on the configurator.

I note also, leather steering wheel is not an option?

GT3 does not have the RS nylon door straps.

It's a GT3, not an RS. Only the RS has cloth door pulls.

Leather steering wheel IS an option on the US configurator.

Only the RS has the cloth door pulls, GT3 does not.

Mt gt4 has cloth pull handles, assumed the GT3 would be the same. Just found leather steering wheel option, missed it on the first pass.

Does it not look like a fair amount of water could collect at the base of the wing body support, directly behind the air scoops?

I changed my mind. I'm waiting for the new GT3 RS.

The 997.1RS had similar (abeit more modest) rear air scoops as the new GT3, and Porsche Technique eventually offered full carbon replacements.
I have them on my Pumpkin, and they look great!

If you like the RS the .2 it will be epic. I passed on the .1 GT3 because the Wing is just too much combined that it is probably way too much car for some one who does not track( oh- love 3rd peddle). My Sales guy appreciated my humility and just another car he could sell to some one else.

But - figure, at least, 530 HP with the 4.0 with a 9200 redline. This engine will be a round for a few iterations from what has been conveyed to me. The GT2 RS w/FI will give them the bragging rights again. Porsche will continue to make "special" cars if the demand is there. The 991 R Guys can all get together and probably ask what they want and Porsche "GT" division will consider and most likely deliver.

But remember - Porsche always considers that if the market turns can they sell all these Specialty cars. Hence, why they price their cars to be sold.
