Now this is interesting ! That Mac LT doesn't seem to be the best and fastest thing on the planet like everyone always says ? Is it safe to say it will get smoked by a Huracan Performante and a 488 Speciale then ?

A lot of the fast track lap times for the 675LT are down to the Trofeo R. Car was developed around this.

Put a 650 on the same rubber and times are very close. Though from a fun to drive interaction point the LT is a big step over the 650.

Also to be fair don't forget the cars are out of sync, ie, true competitor to the LT is the 458 Spaz, LT is much faster. 488 should be compared to 720S, 488 Spaz to 720LT.

My money is on GT2RS to own em all....

GT2RS owning cars being 2 cylinders down and porky will require a lot of new innovation.

H -Performante . 488s . 720lt - others alike should be the competition.

Where are the new Ford GT numbers - that all sort of died.

Best feature about the Performante and McLaren - go topless with little sacrifice.

Performante with ALA active aero looks tough to beat.

I would agree based on the ring time.

But I am taking about cars that end up with us, the customer.

Honestly think the 2RS is going to take some beating. 700 bhp,? Close to Cup car( real world) aero, tyre foot print, torque, best brakes, DCT on the planet....They have been developing this car for a very long time.

The 675LT is a 2015...the 488 will get smoked by the 720S which is apparently faster due to a new generation of Pirelli tires (available for humans to buy not just cheater ring tires) and the increased power from a 3.8 moving to 4.0 in the McLaren producing 710hp and more torque. The LT and speciale were released in sync.

Had my LT out at Buttonwillow Friday and gave passenger rides all day...no issues but a sore face. I think I took 8-10 people for rides that had all never been in one before. Mostly GT3RS/ Turbo owners.

Those two (488 and LT) couldnt feel more different on track.. it's like wallow vs taught, light vs heavy, both fast in a straight line but the 488 a chassis generation behind.

Whist the 720s has a good bump in BHP, Torque, over the LT. The actual in gear times look very close.

Also my understanding is that there is zero or very little if any advantage in the new Trofeo tyre over the standard version. The advantaged being that the Trofeo now offers 7/10s user style of the P-Zero road tyre....This is big leap imv, having done plenty of road miles on trofeo Rs

Cleaning lady tells me that the 720s, bhp, performance figs are" low balled." Also whist the extra bhp and torque of the 4.0 are a leap over the 3.8. Its the new pro active 2 chassis system on the 720s that is big track time advantage over the P11 platform..

488 reminds me of a Turbo S on track.....Its Ok for a few fast laps, then the weight is just to much for the tyres and brakes....

I got tired of Porsche's GT games and went with a McLaren. After 4 P cars it was refreshing to get into something else and am happy about the decision.

I think McLaren is doing a fantastic job taking the left over customers. There is charm in a 911 and they are a reliable, fast, track car however it is astonishing how quickly McLaren has stepped up into the mix. I think it is a quality product.

If you want really low miles and good condition ones or special optioned ones, they are still in the 400s.
Where are those values relative to where they've been since car launched? Keep climbing? Off highs?

They are slightly tailoring off now. First year, dealers were asking for mid 400s for "new" used Speciale (at launch people asked 500s). As they finish delivering all the Speciale and the Sepciale Aperta hit the market, it slowly came down in transaction values. I think it'll stay around mid to low 300s for a long long time.

As a dealer I have bought and sold a few and personally have one. I have seen them sell right around 390-400 no matter what color.

Typically all newish Ferraris ask 100+ ADM.

When F12 was launched it was 150+

Biggest issues with value spread on these

Miles
Spec (you CAN overbuild them)
Seller confidence
Seller percentage retained - meaning...how many owners are actually keeping vs flipping

As with all cars, it only goes down in value when there are too many on the market.

I will chime in as of the lucky 8-10 to do 5 laps with CJ in 675LT.

I had my 15TTS at the track...with new pilot sports. Was very good but needed harness to hold me in.

Now the 675LT...all smiles and holy ****! The car is sick and accelerates and brakes like a race car.

CJ is a very good driver but the car is Spectacular...

One more thing...CJ is a first class person and loves cars. He had a couple of guys from his Porsche store at the event. Its clear Porsche Fresno is going to be a great dealership.

After the ride in 675LT I asked CJ if Pat Long coached him...I got a resounding NO!!!!

Thanks again to Josh/Speed District and Spyerx for including me in a great day.
