I don’t think the 675 will move much lower, the car is to special and limited (only about 10-12 spiders for sale in the US). If you are shopping in this price range I think it’s a rare opportunity to pick up a truly epic car. In some ways it reminds me of the Carrera GT that sat for months on showroom floors unsold and super low mile used cars were selling below sticker. I realize that car is more distinct but the 675 carries 50-60% unique parts to a 650 and it’s even more limited than the Carrera GT.

for me personally the look is very important.

Out of all McLarens I very much like exactly the look of 600LT.
675 doesn’t looks good to my eyes in comparison to the gorgeous 600. I know it is a very subjective opinion but it is how it is to me.

And that is exactly the reason why I would never buy 675 no matter what people say that it is a better car.
If I am to spend money for a Mac some day, it will be 600LT.

I agree with you that I like the look of the 600LT better, especially the higher spec ones with roof scoop, fender vents, and lots of CF. It’s hard to find a 675 with those specs now, and they are priced quite a bit higher.

I was in the market for either a 675 or 600. I ended up getting the seller of my 600 to come down to almost the same price as some of the cheaper 675s on the market. That made the decision for me.

I like Mac better than Ferrari. The F cars never did anything for me.

Had the extended warranty prices been more reasonable (imho) I would be an owner of a 650 Spider today. I was disappointed.

You can buy an 8 to 10 year warranty from Porsche for $4k to $6k. If I could do that with Mac I would have driven it home. I really liked it.

I can’t believe that you can buy an 8-10 year warranty on any car for $4-6k. When the warranty expired on my BMW M6 Gran Coupé the BMW extended warranty was over $4000 per year(I declined). I did however extend the warranty on my 675 for $4700 per year.

^Wow, had no idea about this Porsche extended warranty. Funny I learned about it on a Mac thread. Does it have to be purchased before the OEM warranty expires or can it be done with cars that are out of warranty, too?

Depends on country and location - I pay ~ 1k per annum on the GTS (and can do that up to a total of 7 yrs). This is through Porsche, however there are other products out there. I would add you have to pay close attention to the detail for example brakes aren't covered.

Likewise with insurance, I found the products offered through Porsche and Mclaren (for the RS and 720S) were better than the retail offering by a fair margin (not cheaper but better in terms of breadth, restrictions and replacement conditions).

Not sure on details but wish Mac offered something like that. It would be a game changer imho.

I am going to have to go against the grain here, but the 675LT is one of the best McLarens out there. The 600LT looks a bit too busy in my eyes.
