Well all I can say I have been smiling since 0930 from pick up, and driving this machine. I have knocked Mclaren for some time, and reliability is still my concern long term. However craftsmanship and interiors is remarkable full of CF, and my car if full leather dash and roof, seats leather and Alcantara. Power is very impressive revving through 8500 pulls like a SOB. Controls easy and accessible, and don’t need a manual to figure out.
Access is interesting feel sorry for really really big people, I’m 6’3 with no issues with leg room and head clearance. Back to driving it handles very good, and puts a 650 to shame which I’ve driven quite a bit no comparison. I felt remorse selling the 458, and this thing makes my 458 feel very very old in every aspect. (By the way I loved the 458) Love my RS, and it’s a Porsche bottom line ......however MAC is just a different experience. I looked at. 720S, but too cushy for me as the 675LT is raw like a RS and very very noisy in the cabin. You hear all the pebbles on the road thought I had a hole in the floor pan(:
I’ve learned never to say I will keep a car, but good to see manufactures push each other. Close to 100 miles in the car, and a hot GA day high 90’s the power is insane/car is very light. Turn radius sucks, radio sucks .....ummmmm who cares. Got home and got out my cleaning tools, and but a proper clean to the car. Purchased with 1900 miles car is wrapped with radar installed, tint sure love taking another guys woman after he dressed her up in heals and ready to go. Will see how long the honey moon last, but the 675LT is a beast.

Reliability is overrated. That’s what warranties are for. Drive the crap out of it.
Twins with mine! I’m a track ***** so I got one with the titanium roll bar and the CF louvres fenders.
Also, it’s 1 second faster around Mosport than my 2RS - that is huge!!
Ill be honest, on my 675Lt the electronics are a POS, the A/C don’t work, the CF underbody of the car gets scraped hard on the track, but I honestly am obsessed with my 675LT.
The 2RS is a workhorse - like whole day at track maxing our at 280km/hr than go to whole-foods for groceries. And after learning how big downforce car work, I’m finally happy with the car.
but to keep in it $ perspective, a track day in the 675LT is 5x more than a GT2RS between tires and pads (and god forbid the day I need new Carbon rotors).

Pagid pads and get the corvette rotors (same part number as the 675 rotors and considerably less price). Do these two and the cost of tracking is the same between a mac and porsche.

Ill assume that you are on the extended warranty which covers things only if they dont t happen while tracking anyways .
lots of ppl track with the pagid pads (initial and extended warranty ). No issue with warranty for anything other then related to brake system . The big savings is buying the rotors from corvette (same manufacture and same part )
just fyi - on 720 and 600 Lt I have giro steel and cobalt pads . Verified that everything is still covered except brake system . (I’ve used warranty and no issues ).

How about tires? The trofeo R fall off after 2 sessions - like 2 seconds slower by mid day and throw in the garbage by end of DE track day. That's cup2 r money.

I've only used Trofeo's on 675 LT (maybe someone else can chime in. I don't have the 675 LT anymore - I had 4,000 track miles on it).
I'm trying out Bridgestone RE71R on 600 LT (a lot cheaper but i'm going with 235 on fronts instead of 225). I'll be trying it out tomorrow. It's the first tire change. I had trofeos on it before
720s; I've had about 5 tire changes with Corsas. They last a while. Last time out I met another 720s guy who dropped two seconds on his time by using goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3R . It's also a lot cheaper then the trofeos and corsas. I have a set now and will have them on the next track day.
Yes good year have recently come out with three tire types that more or less mimic the Michelin line up e.g. Supersport (MPS4S), Supersport R (MPSC2) and Supersport RS (MPSC2R.
How does Chevy make them so cheap?.. I can't imagine Brembo gives them that special of a price vs other OEM's.. maybe GM just isn't upcharging like the other brands just so their ceramic option is palatable to their customer base?

I think it’s two things:
1: GM order tens of thousands of CCMs from Brembo for the Corvette line of cars, so there is a huge economy of scale versus much smaller manufacturers, and
2: no massive mark-up for replacement rotors as you mentioned.
As other owners who track their Maccas have mentioned, it seems as if the Girodisc replacement rotors are the cheapest way to track the car IF you do it a lot. If just an occasional track user, (4-5 weekends/year), I’d just replace the OEM CCMs with the GM branded rotors after a couple of years and maintain the advantage of the CCMs. Unless the Girodisc rotors offer an actual braking advantage also.
