If that doesn't feel like enough (subjective obviously) next step would be getting more rubber under car - something like 235 our 245 up front and 305 in rear. Will probably require new wheels which is not an expenditure I want to make if I don't have to. I have heard that width is not problem with 600LT it's height, so will have to keep OD pretty static. Finspeed would be my solution if I head down this route.
Finally, I suppose it might be possible to get the GT4 or Sprint car wing on the 600LT which would be a major downforce help, but not sure how that might unbalance the car or be affected by the rear exit exhaust...

I am working on the alignment situation now. Sourcing shims to get to -3 or -4 in front (maybe -3 in back) (GT4 car is -4/-3 front/rear) which I hope will help the Trofeo's both perform better and wear more evenly.

The 2017 570s has really caught my attention lately. I've seen some cars with a few thousand miles, stickers around $225k, willing to sell for $160k. Looking at non-2016 570s vs. a 991.2 GT3 is quite the toss up. The big hang up for me with a used 570s is that they'll be going out of their OEM warranty in 2020, the extended maintenance package is $4500/year which isn't cheap. Owning a Porsche GT car out of maintenance isn't a huge worry but with McLaren its a must.

Definitely get a warranty with the McLaren. I’ve had friends who listened to me and saved themselves over $20k a few times.
I had a 570S for almost 2 years. Great to look at and even daily drive if you must. Sound is meh, turbo lag is there, and very twitchy at the limit on track. It was a fun car though even if it was not very visceral.

I'm not a Mac hater, in fact, I think the 720S is dream of a car, but the 570 is a just a **** poor example of the Mac line. Sort of like buying the 718 Cayman. You get the Porsche name, and styling, but you get a really subpar product in comparison to everything else on the product line, esp. with that four pot turbo engine in the 718.

This take is probably the worst version of anything you could come up with. Awful take.

Between the 570 and the 1.2 GT3, there's no comparison. Would take the Porsche every single day, even if there is a significant price difference.

I lapped a 600LT and 720S at our new track. The 600LT was VERY impressive. The 720S had regular Pirelli tires, worn out and not even Corsas. If it had Corsas it would have been much quicker. The 600LT is one of the best cars I’ve driven on a track. Here are two videos of each. Both videos are split in car and outside the cars.
I bettered that lap record with a 1.44.2. Here’s the 720S on junk tires
