I love the idea of owning an ACR. Easy to order to your spec and no need to pay any stealership prices or need for a secret handshake to get on the list.
The biggest issue I have with the ACR is the dealership network in LA and SoCal sucks donkey *****. There aren't too many dealers around that even sell or service a Viper let alone an ACR.

you and I are the minority of lambo huracan fans on the board!! I loved it- WAY WAY better than 458. Only issue is that 95% of lambo owners are new money a-hole types. I hate guys that just sit and rev their engine in the parking lot for 20 mins waiting for flames to shoot out. total posers.
the 997RS is the DRIVERS CAR. does that help?

That being said although I love the power of the Huracan the driving ergonomics and the steering feels like a blunt instrument compared to my 991 Turbo and 991 RS. Whenever I drive the car for more than 40 mins the lower back pains kick in and the car gets a bit annoying to drive as you just don't feel that comfortable in one. It's almost like it was designed for shorter drives like a short roller coaster ride and you are over the thrills after a few short sprints.
Back to Viper topic I heard from someone that the viper is closing down its factory again next year permanently this time and you can pick a used viper with very low miles for around 80k which can be a future collectible some day?
Have you guys heard the same about the future of the viper brand?

I really hope the next generation RS will be a little closer to the Viper than the 911 turbo.
We are maybe to few that still likes these raw cars. Viper is soon out of production and 991RS is selling at $100k over.
Time to buy Prius as road car and go cup car.

CJ, great write up and I loved reading your comments on all those fantastic automobiles. Curious if you have ever driven the GT4 and how it compares to all your cars. Was thinking of going the viper route but haven't made the plunge.

And they'll build as many as customers want to buy. Sound familiar? Not.
