I have a 2015 Aston Martin Vanquish as my daily. Comfortable, great sound (V12), best stock sound system of any car I've ever had and surprisingly nice steering feel. Unlike my RS it's actually exciting to drive slowly around town and at 7/10th's in a canyon.
The RS is so capable and without compromise I actually think its boring to drive it slowly around town. On the flip side when I'm in a canyon it is so rewarding and addicting on the limit that I can't drive it sensibly.

I too live in a city with rough roads (Denver), 997.2 GT3 a serious challenge for DD. Even E92 M3 '13 ZCP w/EDC adjustable suspension could be a bit much for those extra sensitive, but personally think it's a good compromise.
'16 Land Cruiser on ARB suspension/BFG K02 AT far more often used for quick around town errands, don't worry about it. It runs over everything, super comfortable, but handles like a boat. Incredible family mountain mobile.
Sounds like you need a heavy luxury sedan to deal with the roads, as you keep mentioning it. Macan/335 quite light.
Ever consider something like a used Mercedes S550 2015'ish, sub 20k miles, see if it works for you but not feel like a jackass taking huge new msrp hit if it turns out no bueno 1yr later? Good mint examples can be had for low $70's. Sub 5 sec 0-60, incredibly comfortable/luxurious.

i'm trying to find a car / Suv
mix of comfort and performance
i test drive the Audi S6 and like it very much (not the handling)
but feel outdated and will be replace with new model next year.
S550 , too big
maybe when i will be over 50 years old.
