Wife insisted on RR. I am sure you guys are all great people but in my area the RR and G-wagon crowd are one in the same and not my kind of people at all. I was pushing for a Cayenne TT or E63 wagon but no dice. Super bummed. At least I didn't have to pay over sticker- all the cars in the showroom were listed at 10-35k over MSRP.

We live by the beach so zero need for AWD, this was primarily for baby hauling and errands.

Hmm, ok, you're crazy.

To be clear, you went with an 80k truck with a Camry interior from 2001 because you thought the RR was too nice. Sometimes these smilies make sense

981 Boxster S with PDK as DD. Good training car. Put more mileage on my bicycle.

Nice. Here's mine. I know I've said it before, but do the APR ECU tune. The car will outrun almost everything on the road.

Same here. Wife is pushing hard for a RRd to replace the X5d. She can't be talked into an E63 wagon (Eew...it's a wagon! But honey, it has more power than the Lambo! I don't care...I'm not driving a wagon.).

Around here in the mornings it's a horror show of Moms texting while parading their kids around in black RRs, G-wagens, and Escalades...

Cayenne Turbo S was over there top on price. I can't wait to get my Cayenne Turbo.. I will post pics when I get the SUV.
Thats interesting given 2016 is probably the last year (maybe 17) before the all new one, why didn't you wait? Thats what I'm struggling with is that wait!

So funny my wife is the same way, i described the E63 wagon specs to her, she didn't care. No wagon no minivan.

But that is what makes the E63 so terrific. Cops assume you're a soccer mom and you don't even register. All in a stealth wagon that'll run 0-60 under 3.5 seconds!

In our neighborhood it seems like all soccer moms are driving GL 550 at the moment. I stay out of the DD discussion and wife stays out of my track addiction. Fair.

Jag Ftype R. Has been fabulous. Comfortable, fast, sounds amazing and has been 100% reliable after 18 months and 14k miles. More comfortable and fun for daily use than my 991 TTS was.

I think it will be another year to year and a half at least before they redo the Cayenne but I could be wrong. I need a new DD so I just felt the Cayenne Turbo was the best suv for me and I cant wait well over a year..

I dont like the big tailights and more rounded front fascia before the 2015 refresh so the older model was a no go for me.
