not the same size , engine , etc.
the Macan Turbo , for sure the best handling SUV i ever drove
with the PDK it's not even fell like SUV
but who care about handling when you drive 99% of the time inside the city
only straight , from stoplight to another
and the surface bumpy and broken all over
right?
this is why i wrote "for what i need"
the Macan Turbo it's a "wired" SUV (in my opinion)
not so practical like an SUV , legroom space on the back for child only
stiff ride
drive like a sports car.
so if it's not practical and you like sports cars , why not buying a real sports car?
what i need is a car or SUV that can absorb the bad roads
i'm driving everyday: Work , gym , home , etc.
and the Q7 suspension tune to absorb better then the Cayenne
the Cayenne i got as a loaner car was much more stiffer.
i use to have Cayenne S (the older model) for 2 years,
i can't say anything good about this SUV.
build quality?
i have Macan Turbo (fully loaded)
i think the Audi build quality are better
(i'm not talking about leather quality , i'm talking about fit and finish and technology)
i think Porsche better with Sports car
not with road cars / SUV (on a bad roads area)
i got also one day Panamera as a loaner car , not liked it at all.
(many loaner cars , why? because the Macan have annoying noises from the dashboard the driver door and Porsche can't fix it until now , over a year)

An Aston as a daily?
I would have waited for a bit more AMG influence, so you know you can make it home..

he's a weird man. has a thing for diesels.
cayenne diesel was not state side when he got the audi.
you need a Cadillac.

Thank you guys.
I must say i also hate Wagons generally but that thing is so different from a normal one. It breaks like a Porsche, accelerates like a C63 AMG S, and transport my dog everywhere in an incredible comfort.
I love it.
I did not know it was not brought to the US, Sad..

VW dieselgate can´t be that dramatical - if they can effort to pass this revenue...
unbelievable for me.
best wagon out their and would be my favourite DD - but wifey and i still drive our needed miles with an F20 and F30 diesel BMW. the worse drives monday till thursday. the better feels friday till sunday.

For some reason, Americans don't buy wagons (see opinions above "generally I hate wagons...").
Audi's decision not to sell the RS6 Avant here is simply because the market is so small for a hot wagon.
To me, they are much cooler than SUV's which outsell wagons by a huge margin. To me, wagons drive like cars and SUV's drive like trucks. I'd much rather drive a car.
Hopefully, Porsche will sell the new wagon version of the Panamera here (though I find the Pana prices unreasonably high)...
