I drive either the GT4 or S550. They are so different on public roads. One, engaging, the other ....so smooth and quiet.

i have wired question:

Air suspension might not absorb broken roads better then Coil?

my Q7 and Macan Turbo , both with air suspension
both "jumpy" ride , shocks and vibrations over broken surface.

i tested drive Tesla Model X , come only with Air suspension
very firm , much more then the Macan.
then tested Tesla S with coil , very smooth and great ride quality.

someone had to chance to compare same car with and without Air suspension?

Thanks

Completely different. I'm actually kind of sad because I don't like driving it near as much as I did for the 5 years before I bought the GT3.

It feels like a barge changing lanes on the freeway, but it's still super fast, faster than the GT3 from 60-120.

I put a ton of work into it myself including the engine swap, so it's part of the family and just turned 40k last week.

I agree the Macan does handle very well!!! I drove one for a couple hundred miles.

Additionally, I would also say...don't fully judge the Cayenne without driving one that has the PDCC (Dynamic Chassis Control) and the PCCB's.

Ive owned (3) Cayennes within 8 months time. First was the S eHybrid. Then the (gasoline version) Finally, (the keeper) Turbo S.
Each one has different brake systems.

Each one was great in its own right. I liked the brakes of the eHybrid. I liked the power delivery of the S. And the Turbo S is literally the BEST daily I've owned in my 22 years driving. (Granted, it's also the most expensive by the cost of a nicely optioned mid-range Japanese luxury car.)

It's luxurious in every way, all the amenities, 570hp/590tq, height adjustment via air suspension, great looks, AWD, and the ability to easily haul 4 grown men and their luggage without even a HINT of 'stress' on any of the sytems (power, handling, braking)

But what really impressed me was the handling and the braking. I don't have any empirical data, but I think it handles and brakes better than my '14 M5. However, it surely FEELS like it does! And ultimately, to me it's more FUN and practical than anything I've ever had previously.

all the 3 Cayenne you had come with Air suspension?
i'm trying to understand if Air suspension really absorb better then regular coil suspension.

sometimes i feel the cars absorb really bad surface
and on small bumps it "jumpy"

i'm not sure if that's true
but i think Porsche tend to be more stiff (sporty?) then other brands.

I am in between...so my wife gladly gave me her MB G-Klass as she was always embarassed to drive that car and now I know why!!! These cars make a horrible social statement IMHO. I will be buying an E63 Wagon for sure...will place order asap.

(She is happy with her '10 and '17 Cayenne GTS)

Air suspension feels rougher and jumpier than springs when it's in the Low setting. More comfy when in Normal.

Yes, all three had the air suspension. I've been very impressed with the air. I haven't noticed what you've described.

If so and daily drives GT3, hope he has tire and wheel package for Houston potholes. They have their own tracker now. If only it tied into your SAT nav...

How did that beast do at the Dragon? Seems a little scary!
