Were these people RL members showing their garages? Doubt it. Also, thinking that someone else must be doing something illegal to reach the level they are at is an insult to them, and it does a disservice to you. If the only way to achieve those things is through illegal means, there is no point in trying harder. I refuse to think like that. It is poisonous, and self-defeating.

in general, I completely agree with you, and none of us would be in the relatively comfortable positions in which we are with that mindset. But if you know a little about the specific background of the owner of that garage, then you'd know what is being referred to in the links.

My modest little collection. While not that of a hyper car collection of a oil prince it will do for a hard working American boy with two girls in college.
Will post pics of garage later. Your usual Rotary 4 post lift and checkered epoxy floor with your usual smattering of car posters.
Oh, subtract the Cobra from the collection and substitute this. "Tigger" incoming!

My garage makeover has begun.
I'll share the plans once they come back from the design guys and pictures as I move along. Planning to do the epoxy floor, cabinets, a champion single post lift (maybe 2 lifts) and porsche wall art.
Quick question re: cabinets. Does anyone have experience with ORG Home garage cabinets i am debating them vs. Sabre. I prefer the metal Sabre caninets, but my wife thinks the composite is ok - the ORG cabinets, despite being composite, seem to be decently thick and hefty.

Garage related question....anyone do a paver driveway? I'm thinking of doing a paver driveway when I do the remodel of my new house. I'm curious what the cost and time involved are. I gotta get it approved by the HOA ***** though so it make take some time.

I'm hoping to get a quote on one soon as well. Wife was against pavers when we did a concrete and stone driveway during a remod 10 years ago, but she has since warmed up to it. A neighbor recently did a very nice one of similar size to our driveway, and I've been meaning to find out who did it and what he paid. IIRC, from demo to fully finished on his was around 5 days; typical slightly oversized 2/3 car driveway.

I think i paid ~$9.50/sq. ft. for our paver driveway a few years ago. A competent landscape crew should be able to do it fairly quickly assuming the demo of your old driveway isnt too bad.
That being said, I think im going to replace my pavers with real cobblestones in the near future. Just like the look better.

Wifey wanted stamped concrete. I like the look. The $$ was just too much. As it is we are still on the asphalt binder and should have that ripped out and a complete re do in a few years.

I have a paver driveway, regretfully it was laid down when the house was constructed, and I have no idea of its cost on a separate basis. It looks good though and requires less maintenance than plain concrete.
