Actually polished concrete is cheaper than epoxy -- less man hours and product.

Thanks! I have some kind of armored ceramic tiles. Garage tiles. You drop hammer in it and nothing happens. Not the prettiest tile but very practical.
Would look way better with some race deck. Just worried that small stones stuckin the tires will ruin the plastic.

mia vacuum floor
max ear a large mop thing on him, i hose him down, he rolls all over the floor
then we blow dry it together.
afterward, all three gets chewed out by wife.

I kept some spare tiles for my race deck floor but I have never had to replace any.

One more option to throw in the mix is a polyaspartic coating. There are pros/cons to all of these types of floors (tiles, epoxy, polyaspartic, etc.). The polyaspartics are tricky to install as they cure very quickly which is a benefit as you can put the garage back into service the next day. My costs were only slightly higher than the estimates for tiles. Our concrete was fully cured, very high quality and I had the surface ground before installation by a pro. Wife picked out the colors of the embedded chips to match her GT4 color choice (blue, black, white and grey) and keep us both happy.

Today we installed a Swisstrax floor.

13 boxes of Swisstrax Ribtrax tiles.

Starting the process.

Son home from school for the weekend to help.

Taking shape.

Finished.

Very nice. Love the motorsport colors and of course, the white GT3. Well done!

Thanks Mooty, Had some fun designing and GCing our coastal home. Built an in-law appt in the house recently and lost 2 of the 4 garage spaces. Purchased a 50x60 commercial fix-er-upper last year and ran new 110/220, metal roof, 2 new openings for garage doors, added perimter fencing, then built a wall down the middle. Rent half the space out to a metal fabricator who used to own a garage back in Germany. Little rent I do collect covers all the expenses and nice to have a set of skilled hands closeby. Dropped in a 4 post lift, built storage shelves in the back of the 1st bay and can fit 5 cars on my side if needed. Better pics later. T
