New Construction: 1.5 acres, 2 car attached garage, 4 car detached garage, and a porte cohere/wash bay

Both garages will have polished concrete and nothing but cars.
12ft tall ceilings in attached and 14ft tall vaulted ceiling in detached.
The detached garage has large 6ft wide x 8ft tall windows in front of each car. So I can see them from my bedroom window when I wake up
Flush mounted electrical outlets in floor.
AC in both garages.

Wash bay will have an inside utility room complete with cabinets, small refrigerator, and stackable washer/dryer.
Kranzle pressure washer hidden inside a cabinet and then plumbed to a boom pole in the wash area.

Sounds like a great design. The picture windows is a cool feature. Did the suspension on your M4 collapse some how?

When we built our home (finished in 2019) I finally got to build a garage separate from the main house, with a gym and music studio above. The main house has the two daily drivers (Taycan for me, Subaru Outback for her) and the detached garage becomes a sanctuary. Missing from the photo is an incoming GT3RS. It finally got to my dealer today and, to their dismay and mine, it has a chipped windshield and a small paint blemish on the rear. Patience is a virtue and it should be ready on Tuesday or Wednesday. Then I'll fix the photo.

Wow. Looks incredible. I am about to embark on a detached garage project. I am curious, how big is that footprint? I am looking at 56x35 and I am trying to get a sense of interior scale. Like you, I doing a large gym above, along with a theater room.

Thanks! It’s 50 wide x 30 deep x 13 high. Some of the width is taken up by the staircase, off to the left of the photo. If I did it again I’d add 2-4 feet of depth. So your 56x35 plan would be nicely roomier than mine.

Garage looks great Alex!

Mine is 60x35. Can’t remember which pages I posted pictures on so here it is again.

First couple in the process of being built gives it better scale.

Finished product

I can probably fit 4 with wheels on the ground.

I could fit 5 if I had moved the lift closer to the wall, but I wanted room to work by the work benches.
