[QUOTEBecause the PTS window is currently closed for what is left of MY2016 (or so it appears unless they allow
it on these recent last-minute gt4 & RS allocations)]
I have a late allocation for an RS in Vancouver BC...was told that PTS was not possible.
Do you think there is a small chance that might change. How would I know and how late can I change my color choice once I submit my order?
Should I keep bugging my dealer? I would love to do a PTS[/QUOTE]
----------
If they are allowing UV in June, I would push for this strongly as it is not PTS - rumour they may be allowing it back.
Keep pestering your dealership and e-mail Melissa Witek.
Won't hurt to be a pest if you get PURPLE! Purple is the special colour for this car.
Finally, 'Exclusives' becomes an oxymoron when it becomes common.

Regardless, the whole board thanks you
Payroll? Funny you would say that. Ferdinand Piëch authorized the payments to me back
in April 2015, then Martin Winterkorn objected. That was the straw that broke the camel's
back..and the real reason Piëch finally resigned from the Supervisory Board!

Thanks for the photo, Daniel!
Looks to me at first blush to be the newly approved PTS 'Summer Yellow', color code Z21, but I am just guessing.

Rennlister & Porsche dealer Geoff Isringhausen Jr supplied me
for all of you here at Rennlist with this interesting piece of
information to add to what Charlie (farfromcommongt3) told
us two days ago on this thread:
The additional deviating stitching colors to the .1 991 gt3 RS are:
Graphite Blue
Acid Green
Racing Yellow
Black
Platinum Grey
Guards Red
Rhodium Silver
Carmine Red
The original stitching remains:
Lava Orange
GT Silver

Door pulls are also available in those colors...but cost extra.
***
Seat piping in those same colors (the 8 additional deviating stitching hues & perhaps the two original) is also available...but only on the 18 way
Sport Seat Plus option! Cost might be as high as US$ 11K for this option alone!
This was last done by PAG on a 911 on the Limited Edition .2 997 '918 Spyder' model:
Bitte! I'm just reposting from Autogespot.
I think the photo is a little over saturated--if you turn it down a little, it sure does look like summer yellow.
Cool, looks like there's finally a blue(ish) colour deviated stitching.
For some reason my quoting isn't working. If the first photo of gelb grun is indeed accurate I would spec my 991.2 RS in that color, assuming (1) they make the 991.2 RS and (2) the car has similar aero and intake in black.
I still want to see how gelb grun compares to birch green. I can't find a definitive photo of gelb grun.
I don't have time right now to find it, but I have posted extensively about
the color Gelbgrün', code 137, on this forum. And that includes the earlier
pages of this particular thread. Search and you will find it. It's one of my
favorite colors of all time.
Here is a photo I took of a 1974 example earlier this year:
Here is a photo I took of a 'Birch Green' 991 in Germany last July:
The two are nothing alike...and I love both colors.
