As Mike said, color code 253. 'Birch Green' or ''Lichtgrün'. By the way,
in the latest approved PTS list, PAG finally admitted that the vintage
name for this color in English language is/was 'Birch Green'. On small
victory at a time...
'Birch Green' is a beautiful & historic/vintage early 911 color!
*****
On another front in the PTS 'saga' at PAG...

I haven't particularly liked that colour up to now but that looks great. Maybe it's the photo or maybe it just really suits the car? Would be good to see in the flesh one day but that won't happen often.
I tend to feel the wheels should match the spoiler uprights?

First known PTS Olive Green (olivegrün; 274) RS, from Zuffenhausen. Color confirmed. Seems to spark some confusion due to an earlier iteration of Olive Green existing, but this is the Olive Green that was available in '78-80 911s.

'Olive'...
Beautiful!
***
Here is the source of some of the confusion on this color...
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/paint...een-color.html
The photos can be misleading.
***
This next photo, on the other hand, looks more the part!
***
The color is great...reminds me a bit of the early 911 color 'Leaf Green',
although that has a bit more 'blue' tint than this 'Olive' non-metallic!
***
'Olive' non-metallic in the early 911 era looked a bit different. Here is
my friend's 1970S Targa (Ray C.) at a concours:
As you can see, it has a lot more 'yellow' tint than the current PTS
274 code 'Olive'.
***
And once you militarize an 'Olive', even an UNI, it takes a completely
different look!
***
Proves, once again, that all olives are not created equal!

Here is a photo from the factory. I also saw what looked to be a gelbgrun RS with green stitching on the line. There was a racing green looking R with silver wheels running around as well.
