Agreed, been there many times! The 918 was on the truck ready to leave when Porsche issued a recall and it got unloaded and taken back inside the factory! Imagine my reaction.......

Geez. To sneak in with a pair of dealer plates and raiding the keyboard for a couple test drives. Very nice picture, thank you.

I'm quite sure it is mine as it is supposed to exit production line on the 18th and will make sense it was at that stage on Friday...hopefully not many gelbgrun will have green stitching too!

Excited doesn't cover my feeling at the moment!

Green stitching will look cool- not seen any other colour stitching apart from silver and the lava orange.

Yellow callipers and yellow belts or black seat belts to avoid conflict?

Really dynamic body colour

Black belts and probably having the dealer to repaint the calipers in satin black with green PORSCHE lettering!

Cool.

I was led to believe official dealers will not repaint the calipers, but will look the business if you do.

Yes, they are all very cautious when it comes to repaint the calipers...I'll see what can be safely done, when it comes to brakes you really don't want to f**k it up I guess!

Could we possibly see the return of Aventurine green metallic, revived from the 993?

^^^Sorry Daniel, not one of my favourites. I'd rather see your all time favourite Signal Orange be revived.

Yeah, I'm with you. I would have loved to see Signal orange again too. Too bad it didn't pass testing...

And I'm not sure what to make of unexpectedly finding Aventurine green met on the list of Glasurit's paints for the 911 listed as a 2016-2017 formula (that's where the info came from).

Yes, it's one thing if your car won't start - quite another if it won't stop.

Yes, two look like 'Miami' & 'Lava Orange' for sure. But it would
not surprise me if the darker blue is 'Mexico' rather than 'Riviera'.
Let us know if you can confirm.
