Re: 'Graphite Grey': We simply don't yet know if they will allow it because we don't yet have anyone reporting that it was requested. But if they allowed one individual (Mag3) to paint his 991 Carrera 4S in 'Geyser Grey', I wouldn't hold much hope that PAG would draw the red line at 'Graphite Grey'!

actually...

my custom order C4S just arrived at the dealership... ;-)
i was able to:
- do the PTS geiser grey
- order the front grill parts with chrome
- order the grill in the 50th style (narrow slats with chrome tips)
- order the part that replaces the rear red strip
- match the interior deviated stiching and agate
- order the fuchs style rims (extra.. i'll use as my summer rims, and the default as winter wheels/tires)

what i couldn't get:
- houndstooth center for the seats... i was ok with this because with that i couldn't have gotten seat ventilation
- the 50th badges everywhere (also just fine with me)
- the green dial.. (bummed I couldn't get this)


i'll post in a few days when i pick it up, but it will to the casual observer be a 50th with 4wd. ;0

First of all, congrats! When is the dealer arrival date?

My commission is A14810, I hope mine is done or will be completed soon. Dealer arrival date is still 7/6 for Omaha.

I'm still on for delivery first week in June. With the system still showing V260 I don't see it happening. Anybody know if builds get done by commission number order ?

Wow...I know commission number A14809 is also Arena Red & coming to So.Cal. This one is supposed to arrive in late June or early July.

Cool how all those numbers in sequence are being built the same color.

Daniel: The 918 on that article is at Porsche Salt Lake!





I do not know if PAG regards this particular PTS color on this 918 in Utah as exactly the same as their old 997 'Sport Classic Grey':



But if you are going to duplicate a color you once claimed was 'untouchable', you might as well do it for that $1 million dollar Spyder customer!

My friend Joe Brenner, GM at 'Porsche of Colorado Spring', just received a stunning grey PTS 918 for his client which he referred to as 'Mirage'. Let me see if I can get more information & photos on that 918 PTS hue!

Well, as of last Friday mine is still V260 but the dealer arrival date has been pushed into July instead of June, so I suspect your car is probably delayed too. Your car has to be on a boat by now in order to make early June delivery.

Very nice, the delivery date is similar to mine (early July). But I still need to arrange a transport to deliver the car back to Nor. Cal, I'll have to wait until end of July to see it.

Thanks. I have the same dealer arrival date. Do you have an ARM as well? If I read the previous posts correctly I think there's four of us on here getting them, pretty cool.

What original blue color did they base it on, I know they went 2 shades darker...
Looks a little darker and richer still than Voodoo, maybe a touch more purple in it?

I would think June rather July since you are at the port.

I'm waiting for an update. The last date I have for a dealer arrival date was 7/6. Maybe it's changed. I do have my vin number.

Having your car at port with a Vin#, July sounds like along time for delivery. I would think about a month to get your way. At least you have a VIN
