Hi Ed,
Yes, .0016 is Light Yellow or Hellgelb (117) which is not 'bright' IMO. Also Gelbgrün is called Lime Green and lastly Bright Green (Hellgrün) is indeed Jade Green. Good job on those colors.
Aubergine is a really odd color. It is actually a really neat color though. It's purple with a redish brownish hue to it. It's really difficult to describe and best seen in person as pictures don't truly capture it. It also looks slightly different at different angles and according to the sun. I believe it was first offered by Porsche in 1970, but could be wrong on that. I knew of a woman who used to have her car serviced at the same place I did and she had a '71 in Aubergine.
Really interesting discussion. Thanks for posting. How cool would it be if they made a special edition series of RSs to end the 991 cars in all of these 15 historic colours!!

Thank you Brian. Yes, I think we now got them all correctly identified & named!

Yes, 'Aubergine' not my favorite. 'Royal Purple' is a better color...and a lot rarer. The 'Ultraviolet' introduced months ago for the MY2016 991 gt3 RS is closer to that vintage/historic early 911 color ('Royal Purple') than anything else. 'Aubergine' was introduced by Porsche in MY1972 and continued for MY1973, so the first 911s in that dark 'eggplant' color were build in calendar year 1971 not 1970!
'Aubergine' was featured on the MY1973 sales brochures both here & in ROW markets:

I hope you are right, but I was hoping my order status would be changed to V270 today, but no luck, still in V260:
Just want to give a quick status of my Arena Red, which has been delayed again. Still in V260, still no VIN, and the dealer arrive date is now 7/3/15, a delay of a week from my last update with 6/26/15 as above, and is a whole month delay from the original arrival date of 6/5/15. I wonder what is up with the Arena Red batch, and if other owners of the Arena Red GT3s are getting the same delay as well.

Spoke with my sales associate today. I was told that Porsche is slow to update their systems and while I am V260 it is very possible that the GT3 could be completed and waiting to be shipped. I was told that it is unheard of to have a car in production for over a month. As of now I am scheduled for delivery first week in June. Does this sound correct ? Also when I mentioned some people are V200 on the 2016 MY I was told that they can be in V200 for over 6 months.
Saw a signal green 991 GT3 at my local dealership today. I've always liked shades of green on the early 911s. Looked different in a bigger modern Porsche.

Amar: Is your dealership Porsche of Bellevue? Did you noted the specs? Did you record the Vin#? Did you take any photos? Next time...please!

9)?
10) Assigned to a North Carolina customer that is part owner of a Porsche sales & restoration shop. (Sold at MSRP). I personally think this is an extra PTS 'Signal Green' gt3 in addition to the 10 originally allocated to US dealers in the reward program. Need that confirm since it's only speculation on my part.
I just took a 5 second glance at Bellevue Porsche and just walked away. It was parked for pre-delivery inspection and it did not occur to me to shoot pics.
At first glance the specs of this one look exactly like mine & the others as specced by PAG re: the 'Signal Green' late allocation '15 gt3s!

Yes, 22S 'Signal Green' is tricky to photograph. It has a little bit more 'blue' tint than my old W25 'Signal Green' PTS from 2007:
I still have the original factory painted rear engine deck lid, so I'll compare the two as soon as the '15 gt3 gets home. The w25 'Signal Green' had quite a bit of yellow tint to it (which I truly love):
I compared my old W25 rear lid to the 'Viper Green' 911 Turbo S cab at the Hyatt parking lot during last June's Porsche Parade in Monterey...and even 'Viper' has a bit more blue to it than W25 'Signal Green', although it's hard to tell from the photo below:
Here is a sample of some of the PTS greens ('Signal', 'Viper' 'RS Green/Green'), although only the w25 & 217 versions of 'Signal Green' are represented. I did not get to photograph a 22S 'Signal Green' color chip on my 2013 visit to 'Porsche Exclusive' at Zuffenhausen:
