Considering the big price delta between the GT3 and the upcoming RS, I may not trade the 3 for the RS but I'm now seriously thinking of keeping the 3 for "elite" track days and get one of those to beat the hell of on track. I can't imagine how it feels in a car with all that torque...

Same deal here. Was planning on getting a new gt3 in a yr or 2. Never even considered a vette, although I have always respected their performance and racing program. I am strongly considering getting a z07 instead of a gt3, even though I have always been a Porsche guy

Impressive, but not for me. I don't understand why GM wouldn't be on the AWD wagon with this type of power and torque. IMO that level of power isn't usable on the street, more of a track car. Guess the only GM I will ever own is my deisel Denali 2500 HD truck.

With such massive low end grunt, tracking this beast will be an exercise in self-restraint. I hope the on-track durability turns out to be great. Although I've never been a Vette guy, I'd really love to see GM build a world beater.

The new C7 Vette's look fantastic. Also gone are the cheap plastic interior. They are now a proper high end car. GM finally realized why they were losing ground to other makes bland and becoming a punchline. The C7 addresses all of that! The exterior in my opinion is also wonderfully improved. And those tail lights, while not phenomonal, are certainly not horrid, infact i like them, they do grow on you. The Zo6 is going to be so good that it's incredible! Wow 650/650! Talk about being blast out of a corner! And full track warranty, manual transmission available and sport seats ready for harness use!?!? This is going to be one hell of a car! Popping up at a track near you!

Well, this may be the reason to not take my GT3 in Aug. There are a lot of great cars out there right now and this car has been on my radar. I'm going to continue to wait for more info and data on this beast. If the emotion for the GT3 does not return by the time my replacement is ready I will never look back for even one glance because I will be in front of the GT3 looking forward

FWIW, the interior is or looks as good as a 911. Yesterday, my hair stylist (female barber) wanted to see my loaner a C2S. Though she liked the exterior her reaction to the interior was one of disappointment. She asked me whether my interior would be more plush/upgraded. Fortunately, I had upgraded to leather throughout the car and full dash with the sport chromo.
