Wow. Double the torque of the GT3 is impressive.

You actually like the Camaro ***-end on it?
GM didn't learn from Porsche's mistake of styling a 911 (the 996) that had very little lineage to past, successful models. We will see how that works out for them.

The C7 Stingray styling is very polarizing. Having owned two C6 generation Corvettes (Z06 and ZR1) I can't get used to the Camaro style rear end.

Impossible not to be impressed; Corvette performance has always impressed me. Chevy just comes at things from a different perspective than Porsche and their approach either appeals to you or it doesn't. A Corvette isn't my kind of car.....different strokes....

With all of the news/speculation coming out of Europe in regards to engine displacement downsizing & turbocharging; it is refreshing to see such a large 'by today's standards' engine with such an output in a Corvette.

I'm not sure if a supercharger is as eco as a turbo setup, but hey, great times we live in...car wise at least.

I have never thought twice about any Corvette. Not this one, a different story.

Sam, my exact thoughts. Corvette has never been on my bucket list until now. The new 06 probably will be priced around $75,000 with a sport package. It will spank just about every car being tracked today. The RS would not have a chance.

Amazing amazing car. It will kill all Porsches up to and possibly including 918. It also has full track warranty. Brake package is insane. I have heard some crazy Ring times from this car. If motor blows you buy a new one for 14k!!!!

Considering the big price delta between the GT3 and the upcoming RS, I may not trade the 3 for the RS but I'm now seriously thinking of keeping the 3 for "elite" track days and get one of those to beat the hell of on track. I can't imagine how it feels in a car with all that torque...
