That makes 3 of us. Mine was supposed to be completed 4/25. bumped to september... sometime. I'm a bit skeptical because EVERYONE has a september build. I'm not sure how march, april, and may builds can all be squeezed into september...

Last I heard from my SA was on 3/20 told me then that my order was going to be m/y15 with no info
on time line ,Then called PCNA spoke with a gal and only when pushed confirmed I was on the
"list" . Missed a call from Andrea this past Friday ,did get the last email from Tim Quinn, and have tried
several times to contact my SA without success , just a tad frustrating when I should be for me
a rewarding experience since I have earned the funds to be placing such an order, for me this is a big
deal . Peter Glad you have got some specifics on the time line for your order
Joe hope the same for you as well
I hope soon to have some confirmation too!

Looks like the factory are going to be incredibly busy in September and October as all cancelled MY2014 are built along with already placed April/May/June build cars. Then we have the RS production to start in Oct/Nov so I doubt we will see another run of 991 GT3 until Feb/March 2015 if at all. To be honest after this debacle and the cost to the company in money, time and reputation I should be surprised if they continue beyond Oct 2014 with the 991 GT3 or even can the GT3 model line moving forwards altogether. Then again there is the opposite argument that suggests they may as well make as many as they can to recover their costs!

Four of us. Mine was supposed to start production 4 April as well. Now moved to 2015, no dates yet. The good news is - I trimmed some stuff and the new one will be a bit less expensive. If it arrives that is. . .

I know you may not feel lucky. Look at it this way you get a 2015 that never had a defective engine in it with no taint. I and others had a 2014 on the production line and even after the stop sale they finished production of those cars and put a defective engine in them. For what reason who knows.
As my car is one of the last to be completed it will be the last to get a new engine. Thus car sitting outside with birds crapping on it with acid just eating through the clear coat. No way to fix that. My car will likely arrive as yours will follow shortly.
This is all confirmed with a senior executive at Porsche USA and someone we'll approve Tim Quinn's pay grade.
I asked for a 2015 and as of now the only 2015's to be produced are those that ordered a 2014 but never started production. I was told flat out NO to a 2015.
There is a very slim chance I will take delivery but I seriously doubt it based on the amount of misinformation I have received from an executive at Porsche and that every question I ask is a NO versus let me see what I can do. Thus the German Way- my way or no way! Done with Porsche what terrible customer service.
Best to all of you getting a 2015, that is the car to get.

Clocked. They do cover the cars with plastic film on roof, bonnet and fenders when they leave the factory so there is some protection there. Understand your position but just saying that's all.

Clocked I think actually that the car is better off mated with an engine even the diffective one as all connection/coupling points are sealed (wire harnesses etc.) thusly protected from elements. The car is certainly better balanced whole as it awaits it's new power plant. Just a thought FWIW

I was a May start production, not sure if you're only counting April guys. My original schedule was:
V200 02/7/14
V250 04/18/14
V260 05/02/14
V270 05/09/14
V300 05/09/14
V900 06/27/14
March 28th I got the notification that my build was moved to MY2015 with a September allocation. I'm pessimistic about all the April, May, June cars getting producted in September. Still bracing for further delay.
