Pathetic because I am. But, I am currently in negotiations on my back up plan. We are negotiating and it appears they will accept my offer because they came back; "if we accept how soon can you wire the money" so very close. What is even more pathetic is I almost do not want them to accept because for some unforsaken reason I built my GT3 on line ect and it has become emotional. I am headed to the Irish pub where after a couple pints things should be clearer.

Three weeks and this is all that is available? I expected a lot more than this. It is so unfortunate how this is playing out and I can't help but to feel sad about it. I'm not giving up and will keep my interest and hope I get my delivery soon. As of this morning, I have made a deposit on two other cars with the realization that porsche my not take care me or view me as an important client. My fear is that once I have used my toy allowance, as much as I like looking at GT3 pictures and vids, it may be too late once I have the other cars.
If Porsche were to have better communications and managed the expectations properly, I wouldn't have mind waiting as long as I knew what to expect. Very disappointing.

I hope we all get some good news soon, we all deserve it.

Like the British chap says.

'and i don't care if it HASN'T got a MANUAL gearbox, because it is FANMUNGUSTASTIC'

.And I don't care if it's a 2014, or a 2015, I just want it back !!!

-- wow. .just watched a video of me driving w/ the engine sound. - off the charts vs. a 991C2..

While everyone is worried about compensation and 2014/2015.. HAS ANYONE GOT EMAIL IN US FROM PORSCHE YET TODAY w/ DATES?

P.S. - As tempting as it may be.. I dont think negative comments in the forum will sway Porsche on a compensation package... -- will PCNA call Matthias Müller. and say 'Hey, speedRacer69ManualOnlylMakesHisOwnTires on the forum said xxx.. I really think we should up the ante .. but who knows. I could be wrong.
Whats your BATNA (best alternative to a nego agreement).. a $300k 458?

While I am still keeping my allocation (now bumped to a September build from April), I have to admit that the car is starting to lose some of it's luster. It's been over a year since the car was first introduced and nobody is driving them still. New and exciting cars are coming down the pipeline, while this particular model will go through 2 model years before anyone gets to enjoy them. Very disappointing.

I just spoke with Ian Moon at 11:40 today, he said we will be getting an email later today and also they were going into a briefing in the next few minutes. They will be calling all of us after we receive this email. Hopefully this will give all of us what we need to move forward with our cars.

Any indication if it is the same as the UK?

When I spoke to Ian before 991 RDC, he said the production part of the email would be the same meaning after Easter. He was not sure if there would be any compensation for lose of use or for those that had cars in port or in production when the stop sale occurred.

The information from 991 RDC is consistent with my conversation. Ian was very well aware of the UK letter.

Tim Quinn you are now almost 3 days late. My next email to you is just about ready to go……..Just a hint "Porsche Arrogance and failing to live up to your self imposed time commitments"

That would be very different from the tone Ian had with me as recently as yesterday.

My impression was that PCNA gathered their thoughts on aspects / amounts to include in a compensation package and forwarded their recommendation to PAG. If PAG processed all of that and came back with just "after Easter" and "12 months extended warranty," and if Ian is now unsure of any additional compensation over and above that...then PAG has drawn a line in the sand.

^^ their way of saying;

"We made a booboo and just give US the car back, we give you the money back and we all pretend it never happend. Just buy a $80k Macan for your daughter and tell her its like a big 911..."
