My dealer FINALLY has excepted the fact my car will not be delivered on time only took them 7 weeks. Now they say as of yesterday my May delivery will now be June, not sure how they know that.
That being said she spoke to her rep yesterday FINALLY, and the rep acknowledged there is a lot of mis information out there...yep. He said 1st cars on the ground, 2nd cars at ports and 3rd cars on factory floor. This will be their distribution hierarchy. I do agree with the strategy but have no confidence at this time of my new June promised delivery.

So, for those who've taken delivery already, they're basically providing about 8 months 'extra' warranty? What I mean is, by the time I get my car back, roughly 4 months of the standard 2-year warranty has been eaten away while my car was parked up...
That doesn't really exude confidence, does it?

if production of new engine starts after easter those in Europe would get their cars 1month thereafter?
ROW 2 months after?

^ They are in the car business and their decisions will not be emotionally-charged like ours'. I was hoping for better news but deep down in side they run business and I "get it" because so do I. Am I disappointed-yes because there are different ways to go manage situations and at this point they know they will sell all these cars for their asking price so it is no sweat off their back. In the end; "to each their own". We all will have to make our own decisions whether we keep the car and there is no right or wrong decision. It is a Personal decision we will all have to make whether it be financially, emotionally, or even irrationally fueled. I will spend some time thinking about this. For me it is a timing thing and I just need decide can I wait a couple more months of drive down to another sports car dealership next week and drive away with a car I cam immediately enjoy. For those that have driven this car they have a different perspective because the can vouch for how good it is. Those people have created a different dilemma for me because it is because of this forum and their experience which keeps me holding on.

This is not correct. My car is sitting in storage at my local OPC, having not yet been delivered to me (it was on a boat when this all went down), and my letter states that I will get an additional 12-months on my warranty. Guys, any other compensation mentioned? It was conveyed on this forum that Europeans who have taken delivery of their car will be given "X" amount a day. Is that true??. What about those who have not taken delivery and have cars sitting at ports ect.?? For those individuals is it just one year warranty extension and no "x" per day whether you accepted a loaner or not?

At this point, my view is to ignore ROW remedies in the US. We get what PCNA tells us and I'm going to leave it at that.
