I got 'em. Just don't have a second alloc to match. (Well, nor a first, to begin with, for my LO / PTS build.)

UV with Black Wheels, black painted (or swapped) uprights, silver painted brake calipers (to match the silver stitching and seat belts). That'd be my UV build.

B) If you were not specific as to the exact 'Green' color requested, Porsche could have painted this car in one of several green colors available then as PTS. The 'colour' marked on the gas lid of the .2 997 vehicle should settle that question. When will you be able to have that photo of the interior of the gas lid on your car?

C) I doubt the paint formula for 2D8 'RS Green' was changed from 2007/2008 to 2010. They still called that color 2D8, so even if the chemistry was changed Porsche thought it was the same color that deserved the same color code.

The factory does change their minds on many other colors though. 'RS Orange', for example, was dropped after being allowed to be ordered as a PTS up to MY2010. They didn't replaced it with an exact color. Instead, they offered 'Pastel Orange', color code z17, which was/is a brighter hue.

D) If you like 'Lime Green / Gelbgrün', color code 137, I would pursue it. It's an awesome color...and quite rare. I have not seen yet a photo of a 991 in that color. And it would be stunning on a modern gt3 or RS! The question remains if that color will be chosen as one of the few allowed to be ordered PTS on the 991 gt3 RS!

- I asked for the RS Green; hope to have the photo within a week - the car is not far from me.

- Yeah - I agree on 137 and likely go for it if made available. I also like Metallic Green but maybe a bit too boring.....

I was meant to go to dealer to tweak my order but they said wait until early May as strong indications show PTS options will be confirmed for September production..... Dear PAG, if you read this - please can I have 137

Yes, that will be the ne plus ultra 1.1RS.

Except with yellow calipers because they will pop off of ultraviolet like a mini-thermonuclear 'splosion, no point in being shy with UV.

I would've left the calipers yellow if I could get yellow stitching to match the yellow seat belts (that are available as an option). Sadly, they refuse to offer deviated stitching exclusive options. Weird, considering it's just a matter of changing the thread, as opposed to the complications with PTS.

Slightly reminiscent of BMW velvet blue. I'd consider it if it really looked like that.

Already made it in America. They even gave me a passport, we can stop pretending now.

Agreed. That pic really sells the color.

They got UV spot on for the original RS Lilac/Royal Blue. Much better representation that the Lava Orange to Tangerine. I think I'll skip PTS now...

Agreed. I'm still not sure if I'd skip PTS. But it's going to be tough to decide thanks to the limited interior choices (i.e., can't do anything but silver with PTS, or UV, for that matter, but I am able to make it work to my satisfaction with UV).

LO has a strong pull, for me, though. The orange inserts, stitching, and seat belts, do a great job of pulling me.

I am staying with LO, no question. I like colours that resemble historical colours, and while the UV certainly has some precedent, it just does not click for me. This is such a completely subjective choice, nothing to do with performance, that we are all correct ....

I really like the silver and this picture of UV but I am sticking with LO. I am sitting on my conservative side and letting the boy racer out on this car. All my other cars are black.

I'm still lava but wonder if I will get sick of a bright colored car....Never had one. Silver seems the most low key. White would match my white cayenne. If I stay lava...I will need to add painted lava air vent slits to the lava MF interior..go big or go home with that color.
