I can wait for the car, if I knew what I was waiting for. If the spec is not what I want, then I would like to know, as I am old and time has become more valuable. What is everyones best guess as when the specs might be released by Porsche?

What specs in particular are in question for you?
you know it will have PDK-S, and at least a 3.8L 475bhp engine (maybe larger and/or more bhp0 ... it will have at least 20" wheels, RWS, big aero, hopefully
lighter than the GT3 ... based on TT/S wide body?

I can live with PDK, but would rather not, like most of us, if 475 HP is it, basically the same as my current RS for most of us. 20 inch wheels are not a plus for me (20 inch just tips the stupid meter for me). That fights weight savings, so does the widerer rear end, so does a giant wing, etc. To me, less weight is worth more than many of these things. If the car is incremental vs breakthrough, and costs 185-200k, I will keep what I have. 200K says breaktrough improvement to me. What would be a nice surprise:
1) 500 HP +
2) Significant weight loss
3) Adjustable suspension
4) Great brakes
5) Manual option is true, thats reason for delay, not lack of fire depts in some areas
5) Factory roll bar we can buy and put in here
6) Not so much areo that it looks like a clown
7) Base of 165k
Probably not a reasonable ask, but I really not worried, my current RS is still as new to me as when I bought it, what a great car, I can love driving it for some time to come.
Don't forget though, the write answer to whats the best car you have ever owned? The next one.

BUT ... what if its the same bhp as the GT3 (as the 6.2 and 7.1 RSes were)?
you havee to imagine that they will try, but starting with the TT/S widebody adds weight over the GT3, perhaps some CF parts ...
more than the GT3?
ditto?

Yes, car is Zanzibar Red (Porsche color) PTS. I have no real info on price, just all sthe small things add up, Porsche says this RS is a more radical variant from the std GT3 than previous versions, (money would probably follow that comment), longer development cycle than previous RS's (costs money), maybe no GT2 (positioned higher, more money), Mooty and others on the board have stated they believe the car could push the 175-200k mark, so even though 130 something and 180 something are 50 something apart, and I hope this will not be the case but I can't see it coming out with a base of 150K.

thought so, I still recall the original GT3 launch picture of a ZR GT3 in the desert... stunning ... and a very unique color!
well I guess we will have to see ... I would certainly want a lot more differentiation than previous variants for a price delta of 50k!!! not just a few pounds shed, another 15bhp and some fancy aero!

and i wish it's radical, hardcore. one color only, no fru fru deviating stitching. sell them like cup cars, you want other color.. well, go paint your own.
this is a machine to be driven, not to look at. i coudln't careless what color, leahter or plastic. just make it loud, fast and loud, light. why carpet (btw, 4.0 has differnet carpet than 3.8. i don tthink it's listed but i have them side by side, aint the same. the gear box casing aint the same either... ) did i say make the car loud and light? 2700 lbs, i 'll pay 225 for it.
but i hope they make it cheaper and more of them so we can all enjoy it. having a rare car is not fun.
