Manual:
No chance, coz the E-Diff and PTV plus need the PDK, doesnt work with a manual tranny... So chances are less than very tiny... (same as in the Carrera etc)

And no 991.2 GT3: Could be, there was no 997.2 GT2 as well... but then I would assume that there wont be a 991.1 GT3 RS and, hence, no release next year...

But could also be the case, as next year there will be releases of the 991 GTS, 981 GTSs, 918 and a Cayman GT4

And yet somehow the engineers over at BMW have no issues with it.....

Branding/market positioning question remains.. How so they go back and justify no RWS or PDK in a "faster" car.. Something doesn't add up here

Where does it say that the manual got it?!

And it says E-Diff, but no torque vectoring?!

Was in the closed m room, couldnt find any info on a tv-system ... at least not one that can break wheels seperatly ...

How is that possible??? Gt3 looks positively dollar store value after that.
LOL. A guy who drives a Corolla probably says the same thing about us spending $170K on a GT3. Some people spend way more on stereo. Been there & done that but everything has its time .

Check this:

The third paragraph in, BMW M managing director Friedrich Nitschke comments on torque vectoring.

The beauty is - Porsche won't need to market it. All will be spoken for at time of announcement.

I highly doubt Porsche would discontinue the halo-model GT3, especially since they just spent a bundle developing the 991 version, and have maximized profit by ditching the Mezger and adopting PDK.

But in addition to the above, the 960 is also coming, and will need to slot somewhere between the 991 series and the Gallardo replacement in terms of price and performance in the VW world. While it seems unlikely that the 991 would become solely a luxury GT, it would not be the first time Porsche has tried to take the 911 there (for those that remember the 928's original purpose)...
