991 GT3 RS

For track work want as much tire as you can reasonably stuff in. A lot of track junkies run 265/275 front on RS. See specs for RSR for an indication of how far this can be taken.
A lot more variables (aka compromises) come into play for the street.

Front wheels and tires were different: 8.5"/235 vs 9.0"/245. Rears 12"/305 vs 12"/325.

Wheels and tires are enormous. Front wheel flare has an abrupt ending, perhaps better aero but more debris spray. Big gurney seems like a placeholder for balance so the real wing is still unseen. This is a menacing looking 911 if there ever was one.

Are those 21inch wheels??!!
I have to say I like them BC they look hardcore, but the design of the regular gt3 wheels is unbeatable.
Guess they got rid of the aluminum supports for the wing on the RS? Not as big a wing size difference as previously between gt3 and RS?

Again, guys, these are old pics of a test mule taken months ago in summer before the trees went bare. Details like wing configuration etc. are bound to be much different on the final car.

does it say 'rs' or '3.8' on the wing upright?
this wing looks better than std gt3. endplates more resolved with the uprights which are the best since the 993 gt2.
also, looks like turbo hips are in fashion. nice.

Don't really care what it looks like, but performance has to show a VERY substantial increase over the GT3, and laptimes a substantial decrease to justify the large increase in cost and decrease in comfort as a Daily Driver. Difficult for me to see where those improvements will come from since the Engine is already operating close to its reliable power limits, and the GT3's substantial Chassis, Suspension, Steering, Transmission and Brake improvements. It would take either a large increase in Engine displacement or a Turbocharger to substantially increase Engine Torque and HP - but that would get into GT2 Territory. Interesting to see what Porsche can do to exceed GT3 performance and Bang for the buck with the GT3RS.

Just because "I can" never meant "I should" to me. If I did it your way, I think I'd be broke by now.
