WTB/FS: 991.2 Touring GT3

I arguably had the best example in the US. Sold it to my friend who made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. He still has it.
I’ll never make that mistake again. Money comes and goes. Classic designs are priceless. My 991.2 Touring reminds me so much of my 993S when I look at it.

I would say that the 991.2 tourings that are exchanging hands are between enthusiasts and collectors. The speculators have moved onto the next ie. 991 S/T, RS and so on. So that being said a lot of people eager to get one and willing to pay the mark up. I remember when I bought mine it was a tough to swallow to pay $50k over list. Now looking back I would do it without hesitation. In fact I love this car so much that I have often contemplated buying another one in another PTS. However my romantic life with my wife trumps the need to add another touring in just a different color.

Hey everyone.
Aron here (new member).
991.2 Touring owner.
I'll bookmark this thread as I like to track sales as well.
I bought mine 2 years ago with delivery miles on it.
I searched all over for a 'basically brand new one'.
LOVE the car.
As someone said - I bought this with the intention of not buying another GT car. It's perfect.
I'm usually on BAT (screen name Napkin-com) telling people how amazing these cars are.
Mine:
Guards red, buckets, carbon mirrors and interior, FAL and more.
I'm not on here often... nice to connect with you.
(tried to post an image... but kept getting an error)

It's appreciating and I get to enjoy it.
I mentioned this on BAT... and my wife doesn't know it yet....
When my kids get to be college age, I'm going to talk them out of attending college

With factory hardbacks, RS knuckles, full ppf, original paint etc. This is another reason why I’ll never sell the touring. Gone too soon. I took the money and ran. Now it makes no sense for me to buy it back. For true enthusiasts these cars aren’t about the money. Live and learn. Crappy 2015 cell phone pic from Pittsburgh vintage race

Welcome! FYI there's ton's of car shows in the area including a once a month Porsche Club event. It used to be at the ACE cafe, now it's in Winter Park. Feb was last night, there were probably 50 cars there when I left.

Remind me when the next one pops up... where can I sign up or see the event schedule?
Thanks!

It's not looking good for WOB selling the Mexico Blue 991.2 Touring. The dates of the accident and the repair never did line up or make sense. And he brushes it off with a bumper respray paint bill 2 years later.
Let's see what WOB's next move is. I will say NEVER TRUST a bat seller. I've had major issues with 911R's auctions before. Flew all the way to Wisconsin just to find out in person. Thank God I took a cashiers check with me and didn't wire the funds.
Can't hide in a CXX Mexico Blue 991.2 Touring. The car will be forever easily spottable. Let's see what happens to the auction., WP0AC2A90JS176153 stay tuned.

Agree.
Simple VIN search shows the disclosure from a previous sale.
I say he closes the auction and tells the owner to sell on his/her own.
Playing it off as a scratch isn't cool - but likely was what the seller told him the carfax was all about.
Poor diligence by Wob.
