Yeah, I'm not sure about all the WOB hate, but he seems to be addressing the carfax concerns. That being said, it doesn't help the sale for sure, just 1 or 2 buyers holding off is enough to decrease the final price I imagine.

That car also has the base headlights, which arguably look better than the normal upgraded headlights most of us have.

I was listening to the latest Spike's Car Radio episode with Jerry Seinfeld and Jerry has multiple references to the 991.2 touring. I never realized he was such a big fan. He compared the 911 ST with the 911R and 991 Touring. Later in the episode, he talks about some of his favorite modern manual transmission cars which include the 911ST, 911R and 991.2 Touring. High praise for the 991 touring from the man who has driven them all.

My touring doesn't have the clock and I much prefer the clean dash look.

I would have probably originally ordered it with Sport Chrono (clock) but the car that I bought was 99.9% otherwise exactly how I would have specced it and now happy without it...I like the smooth look ....but feel like it's such a minimal thing it would be lowest priority deciding between 2 cars.

you are a fool to spend $$ adding chrono back, ppl spent $$ to get rid of it

for entry level porsche buyer they always want the clock coz it's an indicator that their macan has the glorified sport chrono pkg & the sport plus mode that they got so excited about. for gt cars it's useless, just a cheap looking digital clock that makes cleaning your dash harder. sport mode is your right foot.

Say what you want about the chrono package (the clock) in the GT3 (winged and Touring) but 82% of the 991.2 GT3s were spec'd with it. I personally like it and spec'd it as I think it blends in nicely with the 5-dial analog dash. I think it looks weird in the 992-generation GT3s because the dash is now all digital, with the exception of the central tach. I suspect it will look even more anachronistic in the 992.2 generation, assuming it is even offered.

+1 on the clock hump. Rather have it than not even if just to block certain sun angles during the sunset.
