Default I paid $260k for this. How stupid am I?

just bought a 991 GT3RS. I wanted a low mileage RS in either black or white. This one has 2,400 miles. There are quite a few higher mileage RS’s out there for $205-220k with multiple owners but I didn’t really wanna pay that for a track car with 8-10k miles already on it.

Like 3 people tried to buy this car as I was on the phone debating on putting down a deposit so I said f*ck it. No FAL.. no PCCB’s..no smokers package. I don’t necessarily regret it cause this is my dream car but I think I definitely ripped myself off. The car gets delivered next week so maybe I’ll forget all about it once I drive it for the first time and take it to the mountains/track.

that's a very high price for that car. that's a $220 car in this market. $260-$280 should get you a WP .2.

2000 versus 8000 miles is nothing on these cars. but whatever makes you happy. it's only money. you can make more of it.

Ouch not stupid, 2019 was well within that range and with PCCP’s. Seven year old car looks like 200K MSRP, BUT if you’re happy enjoy. Personally wouldn’t have done it, but you asked. Enjoy.

At least you're honest with yourself and you're happy. Enjoy it.

I hate to add to your buyer’s remorse, but see below.

All that matters is that your cars checks all your boxes. I always regretted saving a few bucks at the cost of my most desired spec. Your car is a beauty.

Also, if you keep it and enjoy it long enough, you won't remember the exact amount it was projected you overpaid on an internet forum.

Price have been rising rapidly ($30K plus) in the past few weeks - even for junk. Give the competition, and current condition, you were no more than 10% high, if that. That doesn't equate to being very stupid, perhaps a little impulsive.
There was this one on BAT a few days ago (for comparison) and it didn't have mag wheels.

The world is figuring out that inventories are low, production is slow...... and wants continue.

You have a nice car (get an extended warranty) and time will bail you out.

Yeah but in 5 days or 5 weeks or 5 years, it won’t matter. Never worry about what’s already happened.
You now own a nearly brand new RS! Go enjoy it in good health 🍀

When you see the car you want, you instantly know. At least I do. And I buy it.
