Dealers are trying to remain profitable due to lack of new inventory to sell.

I think these dealers could end up losing lots of $$$, because there’s nearly 100 .2 GT3 for sale with avg price of $200,000, it’s not gonna last, prices will come down quickly and dealers could be caught with their pants down. I give it a few months

I think once 992 GT3s start getting delivered, driven 300 miles and then sold used we will see the .2s prices drop.

Inventory is crazy low in all catagories. Cant buy a truck, cant buy an SUV. What will be the downfall, will be in the end of this year, when the micro chip demand is met, and all these 2021 models hit the dealers in november. There will be a fire sale to move 21 models while every company is making 22's. Wait till you see the incentives to buy a left over. Not sure pcar will look quite like others, but if you want an f150, wait, it will be a buyers market

I just sold my .2 gt3, they're going for insane money. I dont think its going to last once the 992 gt3 arrives in sept. inventory is increasing as well.

Smart money is to hold on to what you own as far as GT3 is concerned.
Very well said, prices are high and dealers are asking $100k for 992 GT3 ADM

Prices will eventually drop to more reasonable levels, but production capacity isn't going to dramatically increase to replace all the lost production over night. Even when the 992 cars start arriving, the market isn't going to suddenly be flooded with them. I drove by a Porsche dealer the other day that usually has around 70-80 new cars on the ground. They had single digit new cars. The dealer I buy from told me they don't expect some relief until at least end of summer. If you want a new 911 this summer,, options will be much more limited than in the past. It's going to take time for the supply to catch back up.

If inflation drives up the 992 GT3 MSRP prices the road ahead will be a rough ride for dealers, buyers, and private sellers. Limited inventory, ludicrous asking prices, and devalued currency. Bad combination.

And no quick fix. Additionally, I understood the 992 GT3T allocations were supposed to have come out at the end of May and are now late summer. And no GT3T cars until late 2022 maybe slipping into 2023? Perhaps someone here has better information.

CF mat driver's side has been replaced in my R under warranty at around 3000 miles. Now at 5000 there's a fair amount of wear as well. I wouldn't order these again.

That's disappointing, I was considering ordering a set.

The G63 has always held value strong. Second to only the Rubicon. Drive one and you will understand why. They are amazing! Nothing else like it on the market. I prefer the previous body style over the current but all the same.

The semiconductor shortage is certainly real and effecting everything from cars to consumer electronics.

The other thing no one is mentioning the copious amount of PPP money … i know some people that received large amounts of money in the form of grants and super low interest loans… would you pay $50k over sticker for a car if you were just handed a large chunk of money for practically free?
