checked autotrader and prices are all over the place. seems like most of the well spec'd manual winged cars are asking 200-220k. how many are actually getting the ask is TBD.
Pretty sure they're not getting what they're asking which is why the cars have piled up like crazy. Even take a look at our own Rennlist marketplace, a couple months ago there were barely any cars advertised. That Manheim report indicates they're getting over $25k less than advertised on wholesale, so maybe $20k less for a private party sale.
I've been religiously scouring the .2 GT3 market for the past 3 weeks, it has come to the point that I see the thumbnail image of the car and I remember the options on the car. Pathetic.
There is a real glut of manual cars on the market right now, it makes the search for a PCCB/Bucket/PDLS+/FAL PDK car extremely difficult. Those that I do find are going at a premium or snapped up quickly.
As far as not getting asking, the Mannheim reports are confirmed auction/wholesale prices, no?
Seems implausible dealerships nationwide are lining up to take losses.
The MMR is based on actual recent sales which are listed below in the screen capture. Their retail projections in general seem high based on what I have seen over the years.
I have no doubt that some dealers are speculating... It's possible many of the cars are sold before the buy is ever made as well.
I love my 2018 991.2 GT3 winged with MT and PTS Arena Red Metallic. The 992 does nothing for me. Reviews seem to imply it has a harsher ride on the road just to squeeze out a little more performance on the track...no thanks. Last I checked Porsche wasn’t looking to sign me as a pro driver.
I am pretty sure if I were offered $250K for my car I’d turn it down.

I absolutely love my pts gray black... but damn, Arena Red wow I really really love how that looks. Don't ever give in to those offers.

The RS I purchased nearly two months ago is still listed for sale on the dealer website. I believe it’s just another tool that the dealers are using to pull in buyers hoping they’ll cross-shop with something in their inventory. For me and many GT3 buyers, I don’t see that as being realistic on their part, mostly.
