What companies offer the highest payout on their warranties? My 14' is so good. I don't want to part with it.
My car has not been tracked and won't be tracked, so I see it as less likely to have issues, but also would like to have some peace of mind knowing I have coverage if there was a failure. Pic for attention....
EasyCare-TotalCare liability limit is the ACV of the car at the time of the claim.
Don’t forget to ask your dealer to quote you a Porsche warranty, either platinum (bumper to bumper) or powertrain. I got the power train warranty for another 6 years for my 2015 GT3 two months ago through my dealer. Cost was very reasonable.

Was your car still on CPO when you got that quote?
I know of someone with a 991.1 GT3 that just had an internal engine component failure. Porsche told the dealer to take the engine apart and they would only cover it under the 10 year warranty if it was one of two things. Anything else would not be covered and on the owner. This is something that I was not aware of, but now realize if you blow your motor and you have a 991.1 covered under the 10 year extended warranty period and it's not one of the two issues that they are looking for, it looks like it's an out of pocket rebuild expense. If so, a good reason to have a CPO or a solid drivetrain warranty with no cap or limit per repair. Some of these aftermarket warranties with caps or policy limits don't make sense, if you are trying to protect against catastrophic failure.
Car insurance doesn’t cover engine repair if it malfunctions unless your suggesting insurance fraud.
Not at all, not suggesting that. But I thought if an engine throws a rod through the block, leaks oil all over the road, and requires substantial repairs, it will cover it under comprehensive?

I do not believe so, "Comprehensive insurance coverage is defined as an optional coverage that protects against damage to your vehicle caused by non-collision events that are outside of your control. This includes theft, vandalism, glass and windshield damage, fire, accidents with animals, weather, or other acts of nature."
