Yes sir! I'm available to my customers for any claims questions, procedures, talking to Fidelity with customer's requests, escalating claims to claim management, act as communication liaison with the repair facility and Fidelity if necessary, handle warranty transfers or refunds, etc...

To qualify for the Platinum Plan through Porsche your CPO must still be within Warranty which is typically 2 years otherwise you cannot qualify.

The 10 year/120k warranty on 991.1 GT3s engine count as a Porsche warranty to qualify for the Porsche-Safeguard service contract

My CPO is still good, I'm looking to see about extending it. Does anyone have that dealer info that person was talking about? I have a quote but I think it can be much better.

• (Platinum) 12 months 12,000 miles less 250 deductible = $5,769.00

• (Platinum) 24 months 24,000 miles less 250 deductible = $5,996.00

• (Platinum) 36 months 36,000 miles less 250 deductible = $6,289.00

• (Platinum) 48 months 48,000 miles less 250 deductible = $6,966.00

• (Platinum) 60 months 60,000 miles less 250 deductible = $7,487.00

• (Platinum) 72 months 80,000 miles less 250 deductible = $8,804.00

Is that 48 mo after your CPO expires? Mine is up in May and really wouldn't mind doing this if I could get similar terms.

Does the sales or service side handle this?

This is the Sales Side / Finance for Warranties. They said it is in “conjunction” with your CPO. Now my CPO isn’t up until February 2025 so maybe why I got a better rate?

I reached out to easy care directly since a few folks here have mentioned them. They said they didn't sell warranties for 2014MY vehicles.

I got a call back with my options for the VSC plan. Interestingly enough they said it has nothing to do with existing CPO coverage. Anything after 4y/50k is “out of warranty”. They just require an in-person inspection.

Coverage options were reasonable though. They had everything from 12-72mo.

What is “VSC” Plan? I have the Porsche Platinum Protection with $250 deductible. My car has CPO until next year 2-25. So still intact. My contract specifically has a box check on the warranty from Porsche stating CPO Vehicle, New Vehicle or Pre-Owned. So not sure what plan you are getting?

That's the name of it. The Platinum VSC provided by Porsche Financial Services. The quotes and everything is all on PFS letterhead from my dealer. Same $250 deductible and all that.

Interesting on the checkbox for CPO as it logically makes sense that a CPO car inherits less risk. But given this is coming from the finance side of the house; the same people that sell wheel & tire plans, extended service contracts, etc from new purchases that it's not surprising to me that there's inconsistency. Also, this is a rather high volume dealer who had zero awareness of this offering and took four days to get back to me versus knowing off hand.

All I can say is that it was articulated to me that existing CPO didn't matter and it was a warranty contract put in place based on the date it was executed (pending inspection) and not tied to in-service dates like a factory or CPO warranty.

Mostly I just wanted to throw it out to others who may have a car outside of CPO to let them know there may be options based on what I found out today.

My Panamera Turbo's factory warranty is expiring in about 45 days and I'm interested in purchasing a VSP through a Porsche dealer. I've got a call into my local dealer but haven't heard back on pricing of VSP plans. I've been reading some dealers will mark these plans up hundreds of dollars, and I would expect my dealer would be no different. Can anyone here share what they were offered for both Powertrain and Platinum plans on a Panamera Turbo, so I can be sure I'm not overpaying?
